We all dream of a love story that we see in films: Crossing paths in college, eye contact and the beginning of the love story! Today, we are introducing you to such a couple, who recently got married at a boisterous wedding. Nikhil and Simran met each other in college when they were 18 years old. They became friends, then lovers and now soulmates. The love story of #SiNikWedding is all about perseverance and companionship. After being together for seven years, these love birds tied the knot in glorious wedding ceremonies in the city of lakes, Udaipur.

Introducing Nikhil & Simran

Fun Carnival-Themed Party

The couple had a carnival-themed get-together where everything seemed filled with colours. It was all about fun and games. Bride, Simran Balar Jain ditched anything Indian and went for a funky blue outfit. She donned a powder blue lehenga with a cropped jacket. We loved the intricate design in neon pink colour which enhanced the whole look. She experimented with her hairstyle by adding white pearls to it to make it look a little bit quirky yet elegant. On the other hand, our dashing groom, Nikhil Jain chose a unique blue outfit. Another highlight of this day was their epic entry on a boat.

Ravishing Sangeet Ceremony

For the Sangeet Night, the bride dazzled in a lavender gown. The lustrous gown was filled with sequins and sparkles. The furry dramatic sleeves made them look prettier! She kept her hair simple with light hair curls. The eye makeup stood out. The groom opted for a unique teal green outfit with a dhoti and blazer. They made their entry with lots of balloons!

Haldi Function in Yellow & White Hues

The Haldi ceremony was a daytime event where the couple twinned their outfits with white & yellow ombre outfits. Instead of going for simple and basic outfits, they wore sequined outfits which looked beautiful. The bride had pearl embellishments on her blouse. She matched it with a white pearl choker, whereas the groom chose a contrasting green neckpiece.

Wedding & Baarat

The couple had different ceremonies for varmala and pheras, unlike other Indian weddings. Isn’t it cool? For the varmala ceremony, Simranb dolled up in a mauve pink lehenga with exquisite handwork, stunning designs, and contemporary detailing, which also had an intricate zardozi work. The bride says that the whole look was inspired by the film Padmaavat. With her OTT neckpiece, she wore a traditional Rajasthani Borla. The groom went for a traditional sherwani with embroidery and red ensembles

Wedding Pheras

On the pheras day, we spotted the bride dressed in a Rajwadi Style. She wore a bright pink lehenga and adorned it with a contrasting dupatta and green jewellery. The groom looked dapper in a peach sherwani. The guy made the bride sign a contract for the marriage. And also, the bride asked her loved ones to write on her lehenga. We loved these trends! She says, "This clothing is a hundred times more deserving of affection and attention because it is safely holding notes inside those lovely windows, hidden away. I had asked them to make sure that one side window was left open while the lehenga was being made so my loved ones could write their blessings on it. It undoubtedly brings back memories of the shirts we wore on our school graduation days, which were covered in scribbles from the people you wanted to remember forever."

Reception Party

The bride recommends a golden lehenga just like this, to all the brides-to-be. She chose this elegant lehenga which has detailed sequin work. She kept her open with a half-tied hairstyle. The groom chose a maroon tuxedo with shimmers. The reception decor gave us royal vibes. Don’t miss their entry on a jeep!
