Dressed in the most stylish Amit Aggarwal outfit, Alanna said yes to the love of her life and kickstarted the ‘together forever’ journey. Ivor got the beach decorated with a floral and candle-lit pathway leading to a big heart drawn on the sand. Words “Marry me?” were also drawn on the sand to make the moment picture-perfect! The Love Story

Ananya Panday’s sister Alanna met Ivor two years ago in LA, California at a Halloween party. Both of them hit it off immediately. “He made me laugh so much that night my jaw hurt. Everything else seems pretty blurry but all I can remember was how happy he made me. We moved in together 3 months into knowing each other (I know, too soon but I literally couldn’t stay away from him for more than a day). I think it was because he made a foreign country feel like home. I never felt homesick when I was around him,” Alanna revealed in an Instagram post recently.

The Proposal Planning

The couple planned a trip to Soneva Jani, Maldives to mark the second year of their togetherness. As soon as the tickets were booked, Ivor knew he wanted to pop the question at this trip. The plush resort’s team suggested North Beach as the most beautiful spot for the proposal and once he saw the location, he asked the team to arrange the floral pathway and the heart drawing and write “Marry me” on the sand.

While speaking to a news portal, Ivor spilt the beans and narrated how the entire surprise unfolded. “When we approached the set-up, I asked the driver, ‘Can we take photos here?’ We then stopped and I asked the driver if she would take photos of us. Once we got to the middle of the heart, Alanna asked me, ‘Did you do this?’ And then, it all hit her. She fell into my arms and started to cry. Hearing her cry made me emotional too, and then I got down on one knee and popped the question.
