Recently, ace designers Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony. The duo have been together for over a decade and this past weekend, they finally had their nuptials. One can simply see them glowing and gushing with love on their big day!

Kunal Rawal & Arpita Mehta's Gorgeous Mehendi Ceremony

The couple’s mehendi was an intimate scene in Arpita’s room at the Taj Mahal Palace, in Mumbai.

For her mehendi look, designer Arpita Mehta designed a mint green lehenga with turquoise and cream thread and mirror work, with a 3D appliqué floral dupatta. The jewellery consisted of a mix of pieces from Krsala and Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas.

While Mehta looked surreal in pastel hues, the groom rocked in dark hues. Kunal, for this function, wore a brocade bandi and overshirt. Some of the attendees included Malaika Arora Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Mira Rajput, etc.

The Dreamy Intimate Wedding

Arpita Mehta and Kunal Rawal’s nuptials were a beautiful dreamy affair. And, while we were all thinking that it must have taken the duo a good number of months to plan the ceremony, they pulled it off in mere 25 days!

All the wedding attendees from Malaika Arora Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan were dressed in tones of white and cream by the designer duo only. The designs were a collaboration of both designers’ visions for the first time ever. One can easily spot Rawal’s signature French knot and Mehta’s signature part-mirror work one each of the designs!

With just 50 guests present for the intimate wedding, the ceremony was followed by a sit-down lunch and toasts. After lunch came to the dancing session where everyone grooved to DJ Ganesh’s tunes!

For the big day, Kunal Rawal donned a sophisticated custom three-piece sherwani in ivory with a mix of his signature french knot and fibre embroidery for tonal texture, paired with an ivory kurta shirt and vanilla slim breech pants. He further accessorized with a colour block stole in shades of champagne, beige and cream; along with a matching saafa. And, not to forget the cream double monk creepers and Birdichand Gandhi Jewels to create the first ever Art deco Bombay Polki hexagon buttons that adorned the sherwani for the #intimatewedding.

On the other hand, bride-to-be Arpita Mehta went with a heavily embellished cream bridal lehenga with mirror work. She opted for a veil dupatta, contrasting green jewellery and wore a pink chooda that we are swooning over. We also loved how the couple is twinning in their unconventional wedding outfits!

The most beautiful moment from Arpita and Kunal’s wedding day has to be when Arpita Mehta made her big bridal entry by dancing her way through the crowd and Kunal Rawal also danced on the stage welcoming his bride with open arms. Watch on to see these lovebirds’ heartwarming moments!

One of the first celebrities to share their looks for Kunal and Arpita’s intimate wedding in Mumbai was best friend Rhea Kapoor. We spotted Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput twinning in ivory hues and also managed to spot Arpita’s kaleeras in Malaika Arora’s IG stories!

But, within minutes, everyone was able to decode that the theme of the wedding was cream and white tones. All the guests at the wedding were so well coordinated that one couldn’t help but swoon over the theme!
