Yes, our Desi Girl - Priyanka Chopra has made it big in Hollywood and we all couldn’t be happier. But let alone making it big, the actress is sure known to make noise especially when an Indian festival is around the corner. For Diwali, Chopra held a Rager party with major celebrities as guests. And, of course, she went with a surreal white lehenga. Designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock, Priyanka Chopra simply glowed at her Diwali party. And yes, we do recommend this outfit to all you to-be brides for your upcoming wedding functions!

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen, the famous model and television personality not only worn one but two Indian outfits and both from designer Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. The first outfit is a stunning pastel slit saree with a net drape and the other one is a gorgeous purple-coloured saree with embellished borders; both outfits are absolutely beautiful pieces which btw will also look great on your upcoming mehendi function!

Mindy Kaling

American actress, comedian, screenwriter and whatnot, Mindy Kaling has Indian roots but has been brought up in the US. Kaling has time and time again shown us that she does love her share of Indian food, designers and other things. Recently, the actress was seen in a drop-dead gorgeous pop yellow jumpsuit by Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. Along with this festive outfit, Kaling donned a cute maang tikka and small earrings.

And, while we are swooning over the pop cut out jumpsuit, we also cannot get over the second Indian outfit that she wore. This one is a bright orange Anarkali with intricate embroidery on the chest area. Oh, and did you notice that sleek headgear!? Ladies, we think this look is the perfect one for your roka ceremony!

Ah, and if you thought Kaling would be done with her share of Indianwear, well here’s another surreal look. A heavily embroidered lehenga by designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock, Mindy wore this black outfit for a Diwali party in the States. With this attire, the actress went with a plated hairdo and had gotten pretty lavender flowers adorned on top. Lilly Singh

Known for her kickass YouTube videos, Lilly Singh is practically everyone’s favourite Indian-American. Recently, the comedian and actress have upped her fashion game and we’ve seen her flaunt one too many Indian looks while at it. One of the looks which caught our eye was this red long jacket with a lehenga that Lilly wore to one of the Diwali parties in the States and man, she pulled it off quite well. Popular for her role as Kamala in the series Never Have I Ever, Richa Moorjani is also an Indian-American who has always embraced Indian tradition and culture. We recently spotted her fashioning a stylish and sophisticated mustard yellow ruffle saree. This saree’s blouse had intricate and heavy embroidery work with the same work being on the sleek border of the saree. Oh, and we are simply loving that nose ring that the actress has put on to give an Indian touch to her overall look.

Another occasion when Moorjani went with an ethnic outfit was for the same Diwali party where Mindy Kaling and Lilly Singh went to and for this day, the actress opted for an ice blue Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika saree with golden embellishment work on the pleats and the pallu.
