Intimate weddings are becoming popular and are being more well-liked now. And, it doesn’t necessarily have to mean that these intimate weddings should be any less special than the grand ones. So, today we’re talking about one such intimate wedding where the couple kept on delaying their wedding due to COVID-19 but finally decided to not push the big day any further and tied the knot around 50 of their nearest and dearest ones.

Introducing our real couple for the day - Ekta and Saurabh. This duo’s wedding date was fixed on a date which fell in the lockdown days so they kept on pushing the big day until they realized that this pandemic isn’t going anytime soon nor is the nationwide lockdown. That’s when Ekta and Saurabh approached Outcry Entertainment to plan their wedding and make their luxurious wedding dream a reality.

Introducing Ekta & Saurabh’s Intimate Wedding in Mumbai

For their intimate wedding, Ekta and Saurabh wanted a safe but luxury affair. So to achieve this brief, a 5-star hotel in Mumbai was chosen as the venue. Usually around a thousand people can be accommodated in that hotel’s hall. However, in this couple’s case, there were only 50 guests. The décor was also done by Outcry Entertainment and they did a very minimal yet elegant décor keeping in mind the taste and vibe of Ekta and Saurabh where all the setups and every prop being sanitized, the decor looked beautiful & was completely safe. The highlight has to be the floral backdrop and photobooth that were created beautifully. It blended rather perfectly with the décor and the photos came out wonderful that was captured beautifully by Busy Bee Studio. 

As for the pre-wedding invitations, a really sweet and customized invitation video was designed by Mint Studio to have all the guests excited and create the buzz while following all the safety measures for Ekta and Saurabh’s intimate wedding. On the day of the big day with 50 guests in total, all the precautionary measures taken were remarkable. With sanitizers at every checkpoint and mask been distributed at the entrance of the venue, making sure the safety of the Guest's and the hotel staff was not compromised. 

Besides, Ekta and Saurabh also wanted their guests to be able to satiate their 3-months long food cravings so they made sure to have food that is the heart and soul of the Mumbai lifestyle, which was a five-course meal along with a selection of mouthwatering chaats.

This duo looked exceptionally beautiful on their wedding day. Ekta wore a beautiful baby pink lehenga with a candy blue dupatta by Kanchana Design Studio and our dapper groom Saurabh wore an off-white sherwani with a matching blue shawl to Ekta’s dupatta.
