Ever since the coronavirus wave hit India, weddings have either been getting postponed or couples are giving in to the intimate wedding scene. But who is to blame them? During this time what can be better than to get to have a wedding with the love of your life and that too around 50 of your closest guests. We feel it is a blessing in disguise just like our real couple of the day, Yash and Pallavi.

Their story is no less than a Bollywood one. Yash our dapper groom had been born and brought up in Pune all his life while our stunning bride Pallavi had lived in Delhi. It was an arranged marriage set up but just after two meetings, both of them knew that it was meant to be and (drumroll please) they decided to tie the knot intimately!

Introducing Yash and Pallavi’s Two States Lockdown Wedding!

These lovebirds originally had to get hitched in Thailand but their wedding plans took a complete 360-degree turn due to the pandemic.

Our bride Pallavi says, "When the Thailand wedding got cancelled, we planned on waiting for things to get back to normal but as soon as the lockdown 4.0 took place, we knew that waiting for some more time made no sense anymore. So, as soon as interstate travelling was allowed, both families decided to travel and get Yash and I married in just 4 days!"

Dreamlike Engagement Ceremony With The Bride In All RED!

With only 4 days, the wedding preparations took place in full swing. Yash and his entire family took the road to make it to Delhi for the wedding. They travelled for 27 hours (Yes, the kind of things love makes you do!) "I think that’s what was special that not many people would be willing to take a risk of travelling for 27 hours during this pandemic to tie the knot but Yash and his family did!" as quoted by our bride.

Hence, their intimate wedding celebration kick-started with the engagement ceremony where the bride donned an eye feasting red lehenga paired with a stunning ruffled blouse by  Asira The Label. On the other hand, our groom wore a trendy navy blue set at an engagement party. The function looked no less than a dreamy affair and we just can’t stop crushing over this beautiful couple!

The Super-Duper Fun Haldi + Chooda Ceremony With Safety Measures On Point!

Yash and Pallavi’s haldi ceremonies were simply beautiful. Yash had his best buddies by his side to make sure that the groom had the time of his life while Pallavi’s chooda and haldi ceremony was breath-taking. She wore a simple yet elegant yellow lehenga with a matching yellow mask (Yes, they took all the precautions!) and wore stunning floral jewellery with it. You can easily see the couple’s excitement and happiness in these lovely photos!

Intimate Wedding With 40 Guests & Couple Drenched In Pastels!

Luckily for the wedding day, they already had hands-on their outfits. The couple chose pastels. Pallavi wore a GORG pinkish-nude lehenga and Yash in a beautiful off-white sherwani. All the necessary precautions were taken by the couple and their guests like wearing masks and using sanitizers at all times.

With the shortest of time, every possible detail was planned at the last moment and finally, their intimate wedding took place in Gurgaon among 40 people.

We’re in awe of the couple’s families who made sure that Yash and Pallavi had a fairytale wedding despite the on-going pandemic.

So to all you couples out there who are anxious about tying the knot during this pandemic, take inspo from couples like Yash and Pallavi who took the plunge, said goodbye to their Thailand wedding, and opted for the intimate one instead. We know everything may seem confusing but on the bright side, you’ll have an epic wedding story to narrate for a lifetime!
