Ultimate Wedding Shoe Game 101

What is the Shoe Game?

The Wedding Shoe Game is a popular wedding game that tests the couple’s knowledge of each other. From who is the funniest to who is messier, the couple will have to answer a variety of questions without seeing one another’s answers in front of all their guests.

This game is usually played on the sangeet or cocktail function but we’ve also seen a few couples play it at their mehendi ceremony!

How to Play It?

1. Set Up for the Game

To play this fun game, all you need is two chairs placed back-to-back in the centre of the stage or the dance floor. You and your other half then need to sit on these chairs so that you’re not able to see each other. After that, take off both of your heels or shoes and swap one with the other. To begin the game, you need one of your shoes in one hand and one of your other half’s shoes in the other hand.

2. Assign a Host

To play this game, you need to pick a host who knows how to hold the crowd and is confident enough to ask the questions seamlessly. This person can be the sister of the bride or groom. Or how about asking your closest friend to play host for this game!?

3. Start Asking the Questions

Once the host has started asking the questions, the actual game has kickstarted. Make sure that the host asks at least 20-25 questions and between each question, there is a gap for the couple to answer by raising their shoes and for the guests to laugh along!
