To be honest, our this week just went by drooling over fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi's mesmerising wedding soiree in Istanbul. The eminent fashion designer who is best known for her eponymous label and for styling Sonam Kapoor for the movie Aisha got hitched to her longtime beau in an upbeat destination wedding. The fashionista bride floored us with her unconventional sartorial choices–whether it was her all-white mehndi look or the bejewelled Nikah lehenga from a renowned Pakistani label! The fashion designer bride be-damned the 'quintessential bridal wear' norms, created her own rules and inspired us to no limits with her wedding wardrobe. Which is why it is purely unmissable to check out Pernia Qureshi's bridal glory!

While Joseph Radhik and his team lensed the beauteous wedding, celeb MUA Namrata Soni lent her the bridal charm with her magical strokes.

Wedding Looks of Pernia Qureshi–The OG Millennial Bride

The Mehndi ceremony

The wedding revelries in Istanbul kickstarted with a mehndi ceremony for which Pernia slipped into her own creation–an ivory kurta set adorned with delicate embellishments. A Chaand Bali maang tikka neatly lay on her middle-parted poker-straight hair, and a matching set of earrings rounded off her look. MUA Namrata Soni gave her a soft dewy look with nude lips and subtle eye makeup.

The Sangeet Night

Pernia Qureshi set the dance floor ablaze in a heavenly rose gold Faraz Manan lehenga. The monotone ensemble dripped with crystals, sequins and pearls and comprised of a tulle dupatta and a deep plunging neckline blouse. She styled her Sangeet outfit with a lust-worthy long diamond string necklace, a statement choker, matching earrings and a massive maang tikka.

The Wedding

On the D-day, the diva walked down the aisle with her bride tribe in a surreal custom creation by Elan - a heavy silver lehenga set encrusted with crystals, pearls and sequins. Making her bridal look dramatic was the soft tulle dupatta set over her head as a veil. The heavily embellished ensemble was paired with dainty diamond jewels including an adorable necklace and a statement maang tikka. For the wedding too, she kept the makeup soft and ditched the dramatic bridal makeup. And we are all hearts for it!
