Honestly, we're loving all the experimentation with bridal lehengas that's happening left and right. From new shades like Turkish rose entering the market to old favourites like Fuschia pink and purple making a comeback, red is not the only bridal lehenga colour for your wedding day anymore.

That being said, not every bride likes to experiment with their bridal lehenga and prefers to stick to the attractive and traditional red. For them, we'd advise wearing something refreshing like these colours during a pre-wedding function like mehendi, sangeet or engagement. Choosing an off-beat colour will be a great way to balance your bridal trousseau's colour palette.

So, if you're someone who wishes to swap the usual colours for something a bit more unique and fresh this summer wedding season, then scroll down and bookmark your favourites!

Unique Colours For Bridal Lehengas

Fuchsia Pink

After red, fuchsia or dark pink bridal lehengas are what come to mind. Fuchsia is a bright and happy colour, and as popular as bridal red. It makes for an excellent lehenga colour, as we recently witnessed in Alia Bhatt's mehendi look, and can be paired well with both silver and gold jewellery. There's just something subtle yet modern about this colour that makes it so popular amongst brides!

Purple Hues

Purple has been such a popular colour in 2022, thanks to Veri-Peri being named Pantone Colour of the Year. And rightfully so! Often described as a regal, sensual, soothing, and exotic colour, purple is that one colour that is taking over the wedding sphere very fast. Considering how gorgeous this colour looks, irrespective of the numerous shades it comes in, purple is a colour that truly shines as a wedding lehenga.

Turkish Rose

Everyone loves pink lehengas and the many shades it comes in. And our latest entrant to the lines of pink lehengas includes the very pretty- Turkish Rose! A beautiful mixture of brown and pink, this mauve-ish colour is known to symbolise  passion and energy. We first came across this shade back in 2020, and since then we've only seen more of it!
