Have you ever seen something so perfect, it sends chills down your spine and you feel like all of the time stands still? And you’re like “Yep, that’s the one.” Well, we just met the mandap-version of ‘the one’!

The boisterous and baroque wedding ceremony of Kunal and Divya last year on the scenic beach of Mai Khao, Phuket was more than enough to steal our hearts but the one detail we can’t stop gushing praise about is the mandap that literally cheers mandap goals! It was a magnificent piece of work done up by Design by PeeraPach (Bangkok) on the plush beach property of Splash Beach Resort, Phuket.

This one-of-a-kind mandap that is so glorious, we just couldn’t take our eyes off of it. To say it would be “picturesque” would just not do it justice, it looks like it was taken straight out of a painting!

The aisle leading to the mandap was decked with an unbridled number of flowers and ferns leading to the main marvel. The mandap had three-domed structures atop an elongated hallway had it looking like a palace and from the ceiling hung three luminous, golden chandeliers against the backdrop of a pale blue sky, it was nothing short of a dream! The regal aura of it was complemented by bursts of pastel lilacs, pinks and whites making it quite the flowery affair. All three windows had endless vines of flowers pouring out from every nook and cranny of it, twirling and intertwining into two magnificent statues of flowers. Atop the grand flower arrangements were two baby cupids with a bow and arrow! The most adorable finishing detail of them all.

This majestic mandap is the Indian equivalent of getting married at the Palace of Versailles!

...

Have you seen a dreamier mandap than this? We hadn't until this one hit our feeds!
