From customizing all her bridal outfits in collaboration with leading Indian designers to including small but impactful details in her wedding decor, Shah had a beautiful and intimate wedding celebration in Udaipur.

Introducing Palak Shah & Avnish Chhabria

Palak and Avnish were set up for a blind date through common friends and even though both of them were going to cancel the date, as fate would have it, they didn’t and ended up having a wonderful time together!

A Vibrant Pool Side Haldi & Mehendi Luncheon

Palak and Avnish’s wedding festivities kickstarted with a poolside haldi function followed by a mehendi luncheon. Shah opted for a minimal bright yellow organza sari and paired a statement mang tikka with it. She tied her hair in a bun and kept her face free of makeup. While Palak looked radiant in the yellow sari, Chhabria complimented her in a white kurta set.

The Mehendi Luncheon

After the haldi rituals, the duo changed into new outfits — Palak in an off-beat mint kurta, dhoti set and bandh gala while Avnish opted for a classic vanilla Nehru jacket set. While most brides opt for lehengas or saris for their mehendi function, the to-be bride’s unconventional look was a much-needed breath of fresh air.

The Black Tie Cocktail Night

Every single friend and family member was dressed to the nines for Palak and Avnish’s black-tie cocktail function. The duo themselves made a statement in monotone hues — Palak in a ravishing black strapless gown with a thigh-high slit and Avnish in a white three-piece suit. We love how chic and glamorous the whole affair looks!

The Dreamy White Wedding

Talking about the dreamy wedding. First up is a GORG white wedding decoration that we are in LOVE with it. We are in awe of the white mandap and the aisle leading up to that beautiful mandap. Apart from the mandap, there are such beautiful details from their decor that we cannot help but bookmark them all!

Let’s come to Shah’s epic bridal entry first. The bride turned many heads by entering with her baraat! Yes, Palak had a baraat that included her closest friends and family members. Major #bridalgoals no!?

Palak Shah is no conventional bride and thanks god for it cuz every single detail from her wedding, be it her wedding look or the decor is as dreamy as it can get. Shah, for her big day, went with a custom-made ivory lehenga with which she paired a statement polki choker, a mang tikka, and stacked multiple polki kadas. To give a traditional look, Palak went with a traditional sleek bun adorned with jasmine flowers. To make her look grander, Palak also opted for a long trail dupatta that had intricate embroidery work on the borders.

While the bride in white looked like an absolute vision, the dapper groom was no less. Avnish too opted for an ivory hue for his big day. He went with an a-line textured sherwani and a matching sehra.

The Regal Reception Function

After having a surreal day wedding, Avnish Chhabria and Palak Shah had a reception function. For this regal affair, Palak wore a distinctive jacket dress with boots. The silhouette was curated by designer Gaurav Gupta while the fabric was sourced from Ekaya Banaras. This outfit is unlike anything we’ve seen before. The way it is falling, the way the trail is coming and the fabric boots — it has our whole heart. Shah with her regal and grand outfit wore an enormous rani haar that was passed down to her by her grandmother. For the hairdo, the Ekaya Banaras CEO went with a sleek high bun.
