Of all the designers that we've come across in our hunt for the best kinds of wedding outfits, one of our favourites has been designer Arpita Mehta. And now, apart from having a presence online, the designer has finally launched her first flagship store in Mumbai!

Introducing Arpita Mehta's Luxurious Flagship Store In Mumbai

On November 5th, in Khar West Mumbai, Arpita Mehta's bloom of colours found its way from the runway and our screens to the heart of the city in the form of her first flagship store. Set amidst the hustle-bustle of the city, the luxurious designer store exudes the calm of a cottage yet on the inside, it's covered in rows of glittering, classy designer clothes. 

When talking about her new store, Arpita Mehta said, "I was looking for a space that felt special- something that had a charm about it, and this space is just that! With a massive facade and an entryway lined with trees, this is a slice of calm in the city I love. A stone’s throw from our workshop, the flagship store is a dream come true, and finally, a place to engage with our shoppers every day."

The gorgeous designer space is a collection of memories in dust pink, with terrazzo tiled flooring, which combines her summer memories of her Nani's home along with the IPS facade in dust pink from the holidays she spent in the comfort of Mykonos island. This detail extends into a comfort corner within the store made out of mid-century modern furniture that consists of cane chairs, a plush velvet couch, beautiful rugs. The vibe of the store is so comfortable, that it almost feels like discussing the next addition to your wardrobe in Arpita's home. Plus, the heirloom silverware only add to that feeling of luxury and cosy intimacy. 

Honestly, the balance between space and design makes this retail store a serene exploration of luxury, which was executed by Architech Ravi Vazirani, who wanted to incorporate a sense of extravagance into a minimalistic design. The store features Arpita Mehta's classic signature pieces including jacket dresses, ghararas, lehengas and a brand new collection called Meadaura.
