Remember the bride who recently took the Internet by a storm with her fully-filmy fake-crying Vidaai video? Well, she is back to smite you yet again, this time not with her filmy tactics but her oh-so-ethereal wedding! Meet Ishta Khosla, a typical Punjabi girl, full of life and drama who belongs in Bollywood but is a wedding planner by profession and a dancer by passion. The diva bride got wed to her beau Neeraj in a breathtakingly beautiful and a joyous destination wedding in UAE. As a kid, Ishta always wanted to get married and she got lucky to find her work in that. She had already planned her wedding in her mind long ago, it was just a matter of placing the right man. :D
So yes, she put her wedding planning finesse to use and planned her own special day with bespoke creativity. It would be an understatement to say that we're wowed with each and every element of her wedding soiree. Be it the themed-decorations for every ceremony, the inspirational outfits that the couple wore, quirky elements or the absolutely gleeful vibe that hovered over, Ishta and Neeraj's wedding snaps came up as a sumptuous feast for our eyes. But is that all? Not at all! The hashtag of this wedding was #KhoslaFoundHerGhosla—so unique and creative, right? Their love story is also straight outta a Karan Johar movie that we can't stop gushing over. A rustic wooden door installation adorned with flowers marked the entrance to what can be called an ethereally elegant Engagement ceremony. With everything decked up in pristine white drapes and subtle floral arrangements, the outdoor engagement ceremony by the beach looked straight out of from a fairytale's page.
Just like a quintessential Christian bride, the bride Ishta slipped into a white flowy gown and walked the aisle hand in hand with her daddy dearest. Semi-wavy open hair teamed with minimal makeup and bold lips completed her look! The groom, on the other hand, looked debonair in a classic blue suit.
What's a destination wedding without a hep pool party? Ishita and Neeraj's wedding revelries soared higher with this insane sundowner pool party. Fun signages, peppy outdoor seating decor and tropical elements served as the perfect decor elements to set the mood right. Everyone danced their hearts out on the music played by Dj Shadow and his water drummer added more life to the event.
First things first, Ishta's gorgeous mehndi look in a magenta crop top and skirt totally took our breaths away! She embraced a typical Punjabi Kudi avtaar, and looked so good that I am falling short of words. A traditional parandi and statement maangtikka and a pair of sunnies were her perfect accessories as she danced her way to the beachside mehndi venue. The groom, Neeraj too strutted in style as he turned up in a voguish yellow sherwani, adding more colour to the vibrant mehndi ceremony. The decor was furnished in the hues pinks and yellows and blues with a fusion of Indian elements in the Spanish style of decor.
And oh, one thing you MUST NOT miss out on is the personalised mehndi design of the bride in which she got etched the portraits of her dogs and her wedding hashtag.
What followed was a fun Arabic style Sangeet night held at the open lush areas of the exotic property. The dazzling night saw everyone sashaying down the dance floor, especially the bride who is a passionate dancer. For this fun-filled night, the bride and the groom stunned in coordinating black outfits. While Neeraj wore a black and golden traditional outfit, Ishta glimmered in a black and silver lehenga set. She let her hair down and made sure to have maximum fun at her Sangeet night!
The D-day began with a simple and sweet Haldi-Chooda ceremony by the beach! Ishta sat against a beateous pink and blue backdrop dressed in a vibrant blue skirt set. She upped her haldi fashion game with the personalised 'Dulhaniya' earrings. She slipped into an elegant mint green sharara set for the joyous kaleera ceremony.
Dressed in an ivory and gold Sherwani, Neeraj entered on a horse with his Baraatis to the beach-side venue. While Ishta looked like a dream as she walked under a Phoolon Ki Chaadar in a heavenly red traditional lehnga. She teamed her bridal lehnga with the prettiest jewellery ensemble—a matha patti, an emerald necklace and matching earrings. But how could Ishta & Neeraj's D-day not have any filmy twist in it? So nature played its way and the sea had a high tide during the Pheras. The mandap was set right in front of the sea. But by god's grace the high waves couldn't reach the mandap and the only thing that happened was the couple got beautiful pictures.
The Mr & Mrs hosted an absolutely smiting after-party for the guests! The fairy light decor and lit wedding hashtag installation doubled up the beauty of the celebrations. Ishta dazzled in a heavily embellished gown for the rustic-themed After Party. Neeraj complemented her well in a red and black tuxedo. The couple posed for some picturesque shots against the fairylight backdrops that you oughtta see.
Putting a rest to the jovial & crazy wedding soiree of Ishta and Neeraj was a glam reception held in Mumbai. The bride's sparkling gold lehenga and the groom's black suit matched the red-themed decorations. Like most of the functions, the bride kept her hair open and rounded off her look with nude lips.

Where else can we expect a wedding planner to meet her beau than at a wedding! Ishta too met Neeraj at a wedding that was planned by her. Neeraj was the friend of the groom and to sum it all up, it was love at first sight, just like Ishta had always imagined. However, nothing clicked at that point but they became best of friends. Last year Ishta went to the USA to get her professional event management certification and Neeraj couldn't help but go behind her, obviously like a KJo movie. That's where they decided on forever and their happily ever after started.
