Detailed and varied themes, the couple’s grandly offbeat entries, unique and new ways of partying and celebrating their love—this couple’s destination wedding in Thailand’s Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa was both traditional & edgy.
After four years of togetherness and a super adorable fairytale-ish proposal Anil & Bhavika’s wedding planning like she says “kicked off with a bang” and believe us every ounce of their thoughtfulness is to be gawked upon.
The beautiful wedding of this soulful couple was well captured by the lens of DotDusk Studios. So, without much ado let’s take you right into their wedding revelries!
Following Anil’s thread ceremony, the floral themed mehndi in hues of coral was arranged for the first day. With massage for relaxation, fresh coconut water and food & dance, the mehndi brunch was an absolute light-hearted stress buster for everybody. Amidst the decorations, the beautiful jhoola setting for the couple stole the show undeniably.
Spilling the details about her outfit the bride shares, “I created my outfit for this event from the scratch! I knew exactly what I wanted and it resulted in a hand-embroidered blouse and wrap around mustard lehenga which was paired with antique gold dhoti pants and finished with intricate pearl details.” With her jewellery custom made by JewelBerries, Anil’s attire was completely designed in his family boutique at The Rack by Kachins.

Sticking to its decor theme “shimmer & shine” the place shone surreally in hanging crystals, detailed mirror cut-out adornments and candles. The huge LED dance floor and couple’s entry right through the LED split screen to the song ‘Feel so close’ by Calvin Harris were a sight to behold.
While Anil wore a draped asymmetrical shaped bandhgala by Shantanu & Nikhil, Bhavika complemented the decor theme in a shimmery pale pink Dolly J saree gown along with a diamond & ruby statement jewellery by Lista Jewels.

A simplistic yet magnificent white and gold mandap under the clear skies with huge gold elephants and pretty & mushy signages made up for the perfect traditional and enchanting day affair. To match up to the wedding theme and yet go new-age, the couple opted for the classic red & off-white color combination for their outfits. Bhavika donned a velvet maroon Sabyasachi with polki jewellery and Anil looked truly handsome in a flared off-white sherwani with pastel hand embroidered motifs.

With floral decorations and centerpieces, chandeliers and fairy lights the setup was super dreamy and bewitching for that perfect sundowner. The newlywed couple’s hanging cake and the raised bar setup with a beach view further beautified up the decor. Adding that oomph to the whole evening was the amazing Jasleen Royal’s performance that had everyone captivated and wanting for more. Bhavika and Anil made their stylish and hep entry for the sundowner in a vintage jaguar to the song ‘Young & Beautiful’ by Lana Del Ray. For their sundowner cum reception the bride wore an apple green Gaurav Gupta gown and the groom perfectly complemented her in a pale golden lined black tuxedo tailor-made at Kachins Dubai.

For the last day, the couple decided to have two different after parties. “The Pakeeza Night” was for the guests who have a thing for old bollywood songs and had various dancers and singers weaving the bolly-hindi magic. The decor was done accordingly in hues of gold and green with elemental bollywood movie posters and cushions.
“The Mad Hatter’s party” was organized at the resort’s nightclub meanwhile. This “Alice in Wonderland” themed party looked everything straight outta the movie itself. With smoky floors, hostesses & bartenders dressed as the characters, floating hats, frames and clocks, the whole venue looked nothing less than “The Wonderland’s” magical enchanting forest.
