Disclaimer: Karishma and Sandeep's fun-filled Gujju-Punjabi fusion wedding in Florence with British-Indian masala is gonna leave you speechless with so many 'Damn, Goals!' moments.
From colleagues to life partners, Karishma and Sandeep's love journey is something many modern couples might relate to. But their wedding? One helluva fun-filled affair, we would say! Right from the bride's unique-hued lehenga and insane poolside mehendi ceremony to the couple's romantic photoshoot amid luxuriant vineyards of Florence, we can't stop gushing over this wedding brilliantly captured by Going Bananas Photography.
"We met at work, where we sat next to each other for quite a few years. Despite our heated debates, we actually got to know each other’s worlds quite well. Eventually, we stopped sitting together and started working on different projects, however, our paths continued to cross and we found ourselves rather inseparable," reveals the bride.
And look at these spell-binding photographs of the much-in-love couple. So picturesque!

The couple kickstarted their wedding soiree with a mehendi ceremony cum beer-pizza party by the poolside. This was followed by their friends singing 'boliyaan' and bringing India into the middle of Italy. Revelries on the first day concluded with a heck lot of fun in the pool. “Then Sandeep (groom) got thrown into the pool, followed by his friends and Abhimanyu (photographer) dived right in behind them, expensive camera gear in tow, not to miss a moment,” the bride reminisces.

So as to back the ceremony with enchanting natural landscapes of the city, the couple hosted the civil ceremony in an outdoor setup amidst the green lushes of Florence. Karishma looked oh-so-gorgeous in a dusty pink gown as she walked down the aisle with her father. Sandeep, on the other hand, complemented her well in a classic blue suit. The cheerful couple, subdued decor and mesmerizing views (and of course the genius work of Going Bananas Photography) resulted in these breathtaking photographs.

Absolutely smitten with the scenic beauty of Florence, Karishma and Sandeep yet again let nature do the magic and hosted the Hindu-style wedding outdoors. Karishma ditched the traditional bridal red outfit and stunned in a rather offbeat lime green lehenga by Arinder Bhullar. Donning a golden sherwani from The Sherwani Company, Sandeep made a grand Indian-style wedding on a white horse.

They took pheras in a simple yet elegant mandap, created with pink and white drapes. Set against the vivid blue sky and lush green hills, it certainly made one perfect setup to solemnize love.
The couple indulged in a few games as their loved ones cheered for them and what followed was sundowner bash with a few drinks and some more moments of sheer joy!

"We were looking for something intimate, romantic and natural as possible. We fell in love with the natural landscape that backed onto the venue (Villa Medicea di Lilliano), this with their decor simply spoke for itself. All we needed was to be surrounded by the people we love to be ready to celebrate and dance the night away."
Talking about her wedding ensemble designer Arinder Bhullar, Karishma said, "When I explained that I didn’t want the traditional bridal red outfit, she worked with me to step through some other pieces which we then pulled together details from and added some of my own personal requests. The outfit was delivered on time, fit perfectly and received compliments from all our guests."
The bride was also all praises for the photography team who went out of their ways to capture the raw emotions in the most impeccable way. "Prasheila and Abhimanyu from Going Bananas Photography are now officially our family photographers as they also covered Sandeep’s sister’s wedding in Jaipur. There was a real sense of familiarity when we landed in Florence, four days before the wedding. They spent nearly every waking moment hanging out with us, joking with our mums, and capturing moments we will treasure forever."
