"In a sea of options, colours & cuts, I wanted outfits that would make me outshine all mainstream wedding albums and magazine wardrobes," this statement by the bride herself perfectly highlights the USP of this wedding. Bride Sarvottema has been all over the Internet for her stunning outfit choices. She bashed all the quintessential bridal fashion stereotypes and strut in style at every ceremony in a refreshing ensemble. While we are totally awestruck with her bridal fashion game, but that is not all we adore from her wedding with Akash.

Meet Sarvottema and Akash, the college buddies whose 7 years of friendship and 1 year of dating culminated in a beauteous intimate wedding at Lemon Tree Resort in Jim Corbett. Their wedding instantly tugged at hearts for reasons more than one! And guess what, our esteemed vendors teamed up to turn this union into a memorable one. Hyacinth Events gave each ceremony a different vibe with eye-pleasing decorations, MUA, Tanvvi Aanchal Makeovers dolled up the bride with subtle-yet-glam looks and the visionary team of Weddingrams captured every detail with utmost creativity.

Beauteous Hilly Wedding of Sarvottema & Akash

Poolside Mehndi

Sarvottema and Akash's wedding revelries began with a peppy poolside mehndi ceremony held against the scenic backdrop of mountains. The ceremony radiated with of gleeful vibes which were perfectly complemented by the vibrant pink and turquoise decorations. And we love how the decorators used waffle cones to prettify the bride's seating area. Another drool-worthy element was the bride's bewitching mehndi look.

She stunned in an offbeat ensemble by designer duo Monika Nidhi featuring a pink shirt-style blouse and a yellow ankle-length skirt set. A glistening Gota mathapatti by Fooljhadi beautifully crowned her head and she completed her look with matching earrings, nude lips and a contagious smile. The groom too kept up with the vibrant colours and slipped into a yellow kurta set with a floral Nehru jacket.

Glitzy Cocktail

It was straight out of a fairytale moment when Sarvottema entered hand-in-hand with Akash looking like a dreamy princess clad in a flowy gown. And you would be surprised to know that the bride co-designed this ethereal off-shoulder gown with the designer KM by Kanika Manchanda. Making it look more princessy was the long veil that flowed from her crown-braided bun. The groom complemented her in a classic black tuxedo and a bow tie. The decorators furnished the venue with a fairytale-lit walkway, personalised signages, a fern-themed bar and a beauteous floral wreath against which the couple exchanged the rings.

Colour Pop Haldi

Akash and Sarovttema's haldi ceremony was also held in the open area of the venue. The cheerful ceremony saw everyone drenching into the wedding madness and having a gala time. A simplistic floral frame overlooked the couple as they got laden with the auspicious haldi paste by their loved ones. But yet again, it was the bride's outfit that stole the show.

Ditching the quintessential yellow outfits, Sarvottema picked a purple ruffled saree perfectly designed by Haania Manzar. And we must say, this experimental choice has our heart! The haldi was followed with the traditional kaleera ceremony for which the bridesmaids coordinated in white suits teamed with colourful dupattas.

Serene Wedding

The wedding was a picturesque blend of pastels and subtlety. The couple opted for minimal yet aesthetic decor that comprised of only a simplistic pink-themed mandap and well-adorned chairs for the guests. The hilly landscape behind the mandap played the perfect backdrop. Upping the overall aesthetics were the serene outfits of the couple.

The couple exchanged hearty giggles throughout the nuptials, and it was a blissful sight to behold. Have a look!

Akash looked all dapper in a golden and ivory sherwani which he fashioned with a matching stole. Whereas the diva bride embraced an ivory-base lehenga replete with intricate embroideries in the prettiest hues by Asiana Couture. One glance at her gorgeous necklace from Aquamarine strewn with dainty pearls blew had us swooning. Her bridal bijoux also consisted of a statement maang tikka, a big circular nath and matching earrings. Her light pink chooda was another proof of her penchant for all things millennial.
