After high-school sweethearts, Dhvani and Samarth, turned from best friends to life partners and their beautiful wedding intangibles buzzed in our mailbox, we couldn't help but gawk at their blissful nuptials over and over again (and also share it with you all).

Hosted at the luxe property of Sahara Star Mumbai, this couple's quaint wedding was a grand spectacle of vivid colors. Right from their glam cocktail night that witnessed everyone boozing and groovin' with joy, the fun-filled Mehendi that was high on festive vibes to the cozy yet opulent wedding which saw the groom making an entry on a high-end vintage car, every little and big detail that went into making their celebrations a grand affair is worth gushing over.

And who else other than the skillful team of WhatKnot Photography could capture their wedding revelries with all this finesse.

Inside Dhwani and Samarth's Jubilant Wedding Ceremonies!

Glitzy Cocktail Bash

The couple ringed in their wedding celebrations with a glam cocktail bash which saw everyone drink and dance the night away. The decor was beautifully done with elegant drapes, cascading fringes in gold and warm lighting. And not to forget the fun bar section, which was yet another highlight from their lit cocktail night.

For this function, Dhvani opted for an exceptionally feminine Gaurav Gupta gown in midnight blue, while Samarth picked up a classy white tuxedo to compliment her well.

Zesty mela-themed Mehendi

For their fun Mehendi, the decorations centered around the ‘Punjabi Mela’ theme with the sitting lounges all drenched in hues of vibrant pinks, blues and yellows, table settings done with mason jars filled with marigolds and paper windmills and uber cool signages. To get the guests into the festive mood, Samarth and Dhvani had also got dhol walas on board, who flew down all their way from Delhi for the event.

Going with the feisty vibes of the Mehendi, Dhvani picked a mesmerising Anushree Reddy lehenga and accentuated her look with a floral toga. Samarth, on the other hand, opted for a yellow Bandhgala from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and looked all dapper.

Intimate Wedding with a Dreamy Decor

Dhvani and Samarth’s wedding was a private affair with only a few close friends and family members in attendance. The key decor elements for the big day were blossoming flowers & foliage, fairy lights and cascading geometric lanterns. Keeping her bridal entry simple yet elegant, Dhvani walked down the aisle under a shaandar phoolon ki chaadar with her veeres. However, Samarth went one step ahead and made a dashing entry on a vintage car.

Spilling the beans about their wedding day outfits, the bride says,

“I had a rather difficult time deciding on my wedding outfit because I wanted something that matched my style and not just opt for a typical disco ball look just because I was a bride! The ivory Sabyasachi lehenga that I chose was something that instantly caught my fancy. The color was a rather risky choice for the typical 'Gujju' affair we were going to have. However, I found its color, cut and embellishments just perfect. Samarth took three days to finalize his looks. He decided on an ivory sherwani from Sabyasachi for the wedding and paired it with a shawl to complete the look.”
