Bridal outfits are stunning but also quite heavy. Wearing a bridal outfit even for a few hours can make you sweaty. If you are already the type of person who sweats a lot, you are going to be even more uncomfortable. However, you don't need to worry about a thing because we, at WeddingBazaar are at your service. Read along to learn about the best ways to ensure a sweat-free experience in your bridal outfit and also how can you achieve a sweat-proof makeup

Brides Here Are The Ways To Avoid Sweat

While a bridal outfit can make you sweaty enough already, if you are going to be a summer bride, the problem can be even bigger. We sweat a lot more during the hot and humid months. Not only does sweat wet your clothes but it also produces body odour. You need to take proper measures to make sure that you are comfortable and sweat-free at all times. Also, read along on how can you achieve sweat-proof makeup with simple hacks for your upcoming summer wedding.

1. Get Breathable Linings Under Your Bridal Outfit

If you want to manage your sweat, make sure to get a breathable fabric lining underneath your bridal outfit. This does not only apply to the blouse but also to the lehenga. Two of the most breathable fabrics are cotton and linen. They absorb moisture. Linen dries the sweat quickly. So it is a great choice for a lining under your bridal outfit.

2. Jump Into The Shower Before You Get Dressed

It may seem obvious to take a shower before you get ready for your big day. However, we cannot stress enough the importance of bathing with an anti-bacterial soap right before you get dressed. Using an anti-bacterial soap reduces bacteria which means no body odor. It will keep you fresh and sweat-free on your big day. Remember to not use an anti-bacterial soap on your face, though.

3. Apply An Antiperspirant Under Your Arms

Here comes the hero product for all of those who struggle with sweating and body odour. Yes, we are talking about antiperspirants. An antiperspirant works by temporarily blocking the pores on the outer layer of your skin which keeps excessive sweat away from coming to the surface. It is different from deodorant as a deodorant only helps to mask the body odor while an antiperspirant can decrease the amount of sweat. Make sure to apply your antiperspirant on clean and dry skin.

4. Use Talcum Powder All Over Your Body

We get that sweating is not just limited to the underarms. You can sweat from any part of your body but you can't apply an antiperspirant or deodorant just anywhere. So, use talcum powder for the other parts of your body like your back, the area underneath and between your breasts, etc. It would be a good idea to go for an anti-bacterial body powder as it works better.

5. Stick Underarm Pads On Your Armpits

For those of you who just don't want any sweat transferring from their armpits to their bridal outfits, an underarm pad is what you are going to need. These thin sticker pads are applied on the inside of your blouse to match the exact position of your armpits. These pads work by absorbing the sweat completely and giving you the dry comfort you need.

6. Go For Sweat-Proof Makeup

While we are aware that you cannot completely avoid facial sweat through makeup, we would suggest you tell your makeup artist if you sweat too much or if your wedding venue is gonna be hot and humid. Makeup cannot alter with your body chemistry but there are several steps that you can take while doing makeup that will reduce the chances of excessive sweating.
