A combined Bridal Shower & Mehndi Ceremony

Mansha wore an easy-peasy lavender crop top paired with a plain white skirt and a delicate dupatta which was self-designed. Just apt for the occasion!

I'm an outfit person through an through.. in fact, I'm not very fond of jewellery. I spent about 7-8 months finding my outfits.. not a shop, designer or website was spared. I spent not more than a month looking for my jewellery, it was all either from Tanishq, Bholasons Jewellers or Carat Lane.

Dholki Ceremony

Mansha looked simply elegant in this Navy and Cream Anita Dongre suit carried with a low braided bun.

Sangeet Night with an interesting competition

Flashing an interesting hashtag #Gamasutra, the Sangeet night had one of the most unique games we've ever come across. So it goes like, as the guests entered the farmhouse, they were given either a red #gamasutra band or an orange one. The ones who had the orange one were only served alcohol from the #Ga side of the bar and the ones who had the red one were served drinks from the #Ma side of the bar. There was a counter on either sides that kept a tally of the number of drinks/shots consumed.. and the side with the highest number won. How cool, isn't it?

Wedding Day

We're totally swooning over Mansha's off beat choice of colour, Seafoam for her wedding day lehenga. The colourful, english & absolutely pin-teresty decor had us head over heals for this wedding. The colour theme for the ground was peach, cream with hints of gold, ferns and woodey details. Most of all, we loved Mansha's english style hair bun made with baby breaths lined merely on the bottom.

Cutesy wedding day decor

I wanted a very personal decor and an elegant yet fun vibe. Stuff that screamed 'us'. So, we had everything from harry potter & Lord of the Rings references, to humorous boards.

As disclosed by the bride, "I was adamant not to wear reds or pinks, I'd already worn a subtle and delicate peach lehenga for my engagement. So for me, it either had to be a light green/blue or a gold one, but when I tried on this seafoam stunner at Sabyasachi, I knew it was the one. The only issue for me was that the dupatta was too heavy, so I got a lighter one made as well and eventually just sported the lighter one."

Reception Day

Mansha sported a traditional red Ritu Kumar saree for her day Reception ceremony which was apparently her MIL's choice. She looked effervescent donning minimal jewellery and that vibrant smile.

Post-Wedding Party

The after party was essentially a drunken college party to bring #Gamasutra week to a close. For the after party, I wore a backless black, Anita Dongre gown with a sexy pair of Jimmy Choos.

Mansha & Gautam's Sweetest Love Story

"I was still in college at the time and he'd just quit his job at Barclay's and was venturing into the Startup world. Gautam was looking for bloggers and happened to come across my old blog. He got in touch and the first day we spoke for 17 hours non-stop (no exaggeration). Here I was telling this stranger, stories that I had never shared with anyone before and vice-versa. This went on for two weeks and then he asked me out to lunch. The first time we met, we knew somewhere deep down that that was it, we were going to end up together. We decided to take it slow at the time. But then in Jan 2016, he had a massive party for his 25th birthday and at exactly 12 o'clock he picked me up from the dance floor and took me to this quiet spot and got down on one knee. We formally got engaged on the 10th of Feb'17. And tied the knot on Christmas Eve, the 24th of December.
