Varun Dhawan Ties The Knot With Childhood Sweetheart Natasha Dalal In A Gorgeous Ceremony At The Mansion House!

Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan and his childhood beau Natasha Dalal tied the knot a few days back at the sprawling Mansion House in Alibaug. The couple had initially announced plans to have a gorgeous destination wedding in Thailand, but due to the pandemic, they choose to hold their much-awaited nuptials at the 25 room luxury property, owned by the Ghai family near the Mandwa Jetty.聽

Introducing Varun & Natasha's Glamourous Wedding

Keeping in mind an intimate vibe, with a major focus on safety and adherence to Covid norms, the organisers including Ravi Ghai (the Chairman of the Hotel & a close friend of Natasha's family) and his daughter Sumita Ghai (who was also responsible for the decor) ensured that every effort was made into creating a simple yet mesmerizing affair. The wedding was planned by ShaadiSquad who ensured that the functions were well organised and went on smoothing by turning the venue into a fortress lined by guards and bouncers, whereas the聽photography of the nuptials was carried out by Stories by Joseph Radhik, who ensured that every heartwarming moment was captured with utmost finesse.聽

Mehendi

The main celebrations commenced with a sunkissed afternoon Mehendi. With a dress code of 'Indian festive' and a lavish spread of food including open-air barbeque and fresh Italian food plus a burrata bar, the Mehndi was nothing short of spectacular. The venue also helped curate special local Alibagh coastal food for a full-fledged experience with locally sourced seafood and regional specials. The bride and groom chose off-white ensembles, looking stunning and so in love.聽

Haldi

The haldi ceremony was accompanied with a Mexican fiesta lunch, with extensive Middle Eastern dishes and a selection of classic Indian dishes for the guests. Keeping it chill, the entire bride and groom squad gathered for a small haldi celebration which was followed by the wedding.聽

Wedding

The wedding decor was beautifully done by decor designer Sumita Ghai, who also ensured as per the host's request that no one would take photos as per the 'no photo' policy.聽The baarat started at 7 pm and the groom made a grand entry on a quad bike instead of the traditional ghodi. Songs like Aaj Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Tenu Ghodi Kisna Chaadaya played at the baraat, as everyone danced towards the mandap.聽Natasha and Varun wore coordinated ivory outfits for the pheras. While Natasha designed her own lehenga with specs of gold and silver embroidery, Varun was dressed up in a聽heavy ivory sherwani by Manish Malhotra with a hint of powder blue.

Later everyone changed into party clothes to proceed to the party room of The Mansion House where the party continued till the wee hours of the morning.

After the wedding, the couple are ready to聽set off to Istanbul, Turkey for their honeymoon where they will be staying at the Ciragan Palace Kempinski, a beautiful palace hotel that overlooks the serene waters of the Bosphorus.
