Kunal Rawal & Arpita Mehta's wedding is the new talk of the town. Everyone's buzzing about the designer duo's intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The August wedding's photos are still circulating our social media feeds, reminding us of just how stunning the affair was. And more than anything, it was designer Arpita Mehta who won us over with her dainty, Goddess-like looks.

You already know about the star-studded guest list —  everyone from the groom’s best friends Arjun Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor to Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar and Mira Kapoor — were present, mostly decked up in outfits designed by the bride or groom.

When it came to the bride herself, Arpita Mehta set a new benchmark in bridal fashion with her entire ensemble. For us, no detail was too small, as her styling team took care into creating the look, right from her lehenga down to the last strand of her hair. So, we've compiled certain elements of her ensemble that hit the ballpark.

Scroll down and take note of these 9 things we loved about Arpita Mehta's wedding looks!

Things From Arpita Mehta's Wedding Wardrobe To Take Inspo From

1. The Bride's Mehendi Jewellery

Instead of choosing something vibrant and colourful like regular brides, Arpita Mehta's mehendi look was stunning, going for a more subtle and elegant aesthetic. The designer bride wore a gorgeous mint green lehenga with turquoise and cream thread and mirror work along with a 3D appliqué floral dupatta. Adding further glam to her look were her jewels. Arpita wore a multi-layered Russian emerald and polki necklace by Krsala along with a maang tikka and statement chandelier earrings from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas. Talk about looking like a sage green queen!

2. Minimal Mehendi

Another element from the designer's mehendi that caught our eye was her choice of mehendi design. Going with a minimal mix of mandala and lotus motif mehendi design, Arpita's minimal approach to the design shows us that there is always room for customisation!

3. Her Mirrorwork Bridal Lehenga With Customised Details

Moving on to her bridal ensemble, the first thing that stood out was Arpita Mehta's golden lehenga. The designer wanted to create an outfit she had never made before while staying true to her signature mirror-work. The result? A gold cutdana mirror-work lehenga with cream thread work inspired by Rajasthani architecture, particularly Sheesh Mahal. According to her, the outfit was decked with 18,700 mirrors, with their initials embroidered in Kunal Rawal's signature french knots. Her ensemble was finished with three dupattas, including a four-meter-long tulle veil!

4. Her Kaleeras & The Pink and White Chooda

Keeping in line with her ensemble's gold-toned theme, Arpita choose a pair of golden kaleeras customised by Mrinalini Chandra. The kaleeras are comprised of frangipani flower motifs along with several other personalized motifs. The kaleeras were as delicate and as dainty as the bride herself, dotted with a flower that is an emblem of love, growth and strength. Adding another layer of allure to her hands was her choice of chooda. Mehta wore baby pink and white coloured chooda. An off-beat choice? Sure. But stunning? Absolutely!

5. Her 3rd Dupatta That Worked As A Long Veil

We love it when brides customise their looks with an additional dupatta that works as a long veil. But Arpita took to another level by doing not two but three dupattas with her look. The third dupatta was the one that stood out. It was a four-metre-long tulle veil, with 3D mirror-work flowers on it, making her look like an absolute dream.

6. Arpita's Endearing Bridal Entry

Okay, let's just take a step back and talk about the designer's adorable bridal entry. Dressed in a gold mirror work lehnga with a dramatic tulle veil, Arpita walked down a beautiful aisle to A.R Rehman's 'Tere Bina. Midway through her walk, she burst into the sweetest sway when she spotted her visibly excited groom Kunal. This song is the couple's favourite track from the 2007 blockbuster Guru, the movie they watched together for the first time when they started dating. It was a heartwarming sight that we were all fortunate enough to witness!

7. Open Flowy Hair For The Wedding

A recent trend we've noticed in celebrity brides is how they've ditched traditional up-dos for a more modern, centre-parted blowout. We earlier saw this with celebrity bride Alia Bhatt. It's a contemporary style, which not only adds a sense of lightness to the look but also wonderfully frames the face. Furthermore, since her hair was coloured and long, the open hairstyle, styled by Aanchal Morwani, added volume and symmetry to the look when paired with a beautiful polki maang tika.

8. Arpita's Glowing Wedding Makeup Look

Skinmalism is in! With brides moving on from traditional, over-the-top makeup looks, we've seen a surge in a more natural look that employs the use of minimal makeup. Arpita's nude glam makeup look is a perfect example of the so-called 'Skinmalism' look that has been making waves recently. With a flawless base, classic eyeliner, brown-toned nude lipstick and brushed-up brows, the bride aced the minimal makeup movement effortlessly. Her makeup artist, Riddhima Sharma, added a step to this look by highlighting just the right points of the bride's face to give her an ethereal glow.

9. The Fringed Cape & Deep-Neck Blouse From Her Sangeet

While we didn't get an in-depth look into Kunal and Arpita's sangeet night, we sure did get a glimpse of Arpita's scintillating black ensemble. Consisting of a black net saree with dainty floral embroidery, a net cape with long fringes at the hem and a glimmering strappy blouse with a scandalous neckline, the bride's look was nothing short of perfection.
