Do you know what's the best thing about intimate weddings? It's the love that you get to share with your nearest and dearest ones who matter the most in your life. Just like this couple who managed to get hitched under a nationwide lockdown today, we have a very special couple who were supposed to have a grand wedding in April with 1000 guests, which later turned out to be a magical registration intimate wedding in Surat with only 20 guests. While Tanushree Sharma (our bride of the day) is a well-known blogger of The Glutton And The Owl. Our groom, Nishant Dhamannwala owns Ministry of Eggs, which also happened to be their wedding caterers.

Meeting each other through their parents, #NishGotTanned was a beautiful intimate wedding where Tanushree looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a baby pink lehenga while ensuring to keep a summer wedding theme in Athens, which was captured perfectly by Adak Vishal Photography.

Introducing Tanushree & Nishant's Fairytale Intimate Wedding

Imagine. Your wedding preparation is in full swing, families are excited to get you together and you are overwhelmed to start this beautiful phase of your life with your partner in crime. But, (boom) nationwide lockdown happens due to the Coronavirus outbreak in India and your heart sinks like never before. "Nish and I supposed to get hitched on the 10th and 11th of April, 2020 with 1000 guests. So here I am telling you about our wedding story and how we had to postpone our celebrations to a much later stage," said Tanushree.

Always being optimistic no matter how difficult the situation may be. Our couple finally decided in May to get hitched intimately while having their loved ones around. Though Tanushree and Nishant had to sit together to streamline the guestlist. They successfully got to a number, which was under guidelines by Govt. of India. Fixing on inviting only 20 attendees to their sweet & simple intimate wedding in Surat, Tanushree got a beautiful and special decoration done for her wedding for which she kept a theme of a summer wedding in Athens and let me tell you it looked AMAZING from every angle.

Keeping the safety measures for all their wedding guests this twosome got the food preparation done by Ministry of Eggs, which Nishant owns. Keeping an eye on the food hygienic, #NishGotTanned also ticked off the boxes as far as full sanitisation of the venue and proper hygiene are concerned and ensured to give out face masks to all their guests.

Happy Bride in a Plush-in-Pink Lehenga

For her dream intimate wedding day, Tanushree wore a beautiful baby pink lehenga where its designs were imbued in luxe beadwork & an edgy neo-blouse by Shantanu and Nikhil. With her stunning lehenga, she paired a stunning piece of jewellery and a dewy makeup done perfectly by Janki Makeup Artist. On the other hand, our groom wore a floral blue Bandhgala, which looked dapper on him.

Beautiful Intimate Wedding With Only 20 Guests

Celebrating their special day with their loved ones, Tanushree said, "Life has its ways. I was never the kind of girl who dreamed of a big fat wedding but being the youngest in the family, mine was the last nuptials in the clan and everyone somehow wanted to fulfil their wishes through me. Somewhere I wanted an extravagant wedding too in the process. So we planned for truly opulent celebrations. Then out of nowhere came this global pandemic throwing all our plans down the drain. With so much uncertainty the prospect of a large gathering seemed not only improbable but impossible. So Nish and I decided to register our marriage in a small ceremony and start living our lives together. When things get back to normal we will celebrate once again with our friends and family. However, our intimate ceremony was nothing less than perfect. Thank you for all your warm wishes!"

Blessings From Loved Ones

What's better than having your loved ones around in your big day. Though the couple plans to get hitched again in a grand manner in January 2021 with their friends and family members around. Our bride revealed, "It’s impossible to fully describe the connection I feel with my family. This lifelong bond is more powerful than words alone because it’s made of instinct, sacrifice, gratitude and so many other complicated emotions and memories that are unique to each family. So happy to have found a new family. The best part is I feel at home with them. Our wedding is a good excuse to express my gratitude. Feeling blessed to have my virtual family to be a part of my celebrations and shower me with so much love. I love, respect and cherish you all," said Tanushree.

Final Words From The Bride

Giving tips to future brides Tanushree said, "Focus on a happy marriage than just a wedding. You can make any situation into your dream wedding."
