Ring Ceremony (Christian Wedding Theme)

Their first ceremony was the ring ceremony which had Christian Wedding theme. Sonia stunned us in a white ruffled gown with lace sleeves. She had a beautiful open hairstyle adorned with a headband. To give her ring ceremony look a subtle touch, she ditched the heavy jewellery and paired tiny stud earrings. On the other hand, our groom looked dashing in a classic black tuxedo and he adorned a cute little bow tie to give an edge to his look.

Sagan Ceremony (Sufi Theme)

The Sagan ceremony was organised in a very regal way. The theme of the night was Sufi theme. From the outfits of the couple to the grand decor, everything was done in the maharaja style. Our beautiful bride looked glamourous in a unique lehenga. The off-beat combination had colourful sequins embellished and she paired her outfit with some traditional jewellery. In fact, Akshit looked straight out of a kingdom in a manarkali styled sherwani. He added a touch royalty with a pagdi that is worth-bookmarking!

Haldi Function With Pool Side Party

It was a fun-filled ceremony which had a mesmerising decor with a genda phool decoration. Sonia kept it basic with a simple yellow saree and tied her hair in a messy bun. She paired her saree with a multicoloured blouse. Whereas, the groom donned himself in a yellow kurta and white salwar. The haldi function was followed by a pool side party, which was super-duper fun!

The Wedding Day

Now, finally coming to their big day. It was a day-wedding event that made the couple to wear stylish sunglasses for the ceremony. Have you ever seen such a cool couple? Love was in the air as we spotted so many things in pink colour. Our dapper groom wore an ivory sherwani with hues of pink. He made a grand entry in a jaguar car with two elephants. And the bride made a royal bridal entry by arriving in a palki. She wore a gorgeous pink lehenga from Chandi Chowk. Instead of pairing the outfit with matching jewellery, she wore traditional jewellery that looked perfect for the wedding day.

Expressing their love for this couple Vijayran Palace Jaipur venue said, "We recently captured this intimate wedding of our beautiful couple Sonia & Akshit at Vijayran Palace, Jaipur. The wedding and the outfits of the bride and groom are what we can't stop drooling over. From the bride's engagement gown to the groom's sangeet's outfit everything was so mesmerizing. The yellow color theme of the haldi ceremony was no less. The bridesmaids' outfits are something we can't get over. The colour coordination of bride and bridesmaids is setting major wedding goals."

Final Words From The Bride

Sonia shared some really important wedding planning tips for the couples who are planning to get married soon and suggested the following things to take into consideration:

  • Start planning the wedding a few months before the wedding. You should have enough time to do things without any stress.
  • Last-minute decisions can spoil things too. Take your time to make the right choices especially while hiring your wedding decorator and caterer.
  • Clothes trial should not be done at the last minute.
