Brides from different cultures uniquely embrace bridal wear. One of the most inspiring, however, is the Sikh brides. So if you’re looking for some bridal wear inspiration, you are on the right page.

From unique styles to pretty colours, Sikh Brides have a taste of their own when it comes to bridal wear. While the popular notion is that they focus on intricate work with bold colours, we tend to disagree with it. Here are some of the recent Sikh brides that we stalked, and fell in love with their bridal wear almost immediately. If you’re looking to make a statement with an unusual choice, take a look at these bridal outfits carried by Sikh brides and take some inspiration for your wedding outfit.

Sikh Brides Who Inspired Us With their Outfit Choices

Beautiful Pink Lehenga with Long Blouse

On the top of our list is this beautiful bride who chose the most extravagant, pink and orange, fully embellished lehenga and paired it with a long Kurti blouse that makes it look more elegant and pretty. By opting for a double dupatta, she’s perfectly balanced the colour scheme and added a little contrast with the dainty purple net dupatta on her head.

Peachy-Pink Salwar Kurta

Next on our list is a bride who chose the perfect shade between peach and pink for her wedding day. With intricate embroidery on the borders, this salwar kurta is the perfect pick for Sikh brides that wish to go for something easy-breezy. The matching jutti and the kaleere tied to her hands make for our favourite accessories on her.

Beautiful Kurta and Skirt Combination

Now here’s a Sikh bride that did not just choose the lightest colour of them all, but also picked a flowy georgette fabric over the more popular silk one. While her bridal wear seems inspired by Pakistani brides, we love the combination of a straight cut long kurta with a flared skirt and the colour palette seems to impress us way too much in times of jazzy choices and bold colours. The highlight according to us is the dainty net dupatta that has the fall every bride dreams of.

Silk A-Line Kurta and Skirt

Another Sikh bride that decided to ditch the usual and go for something unique. The silk heavily embellished beige A-line kurta makes for a subtle pick, however, the bright red heavy bordered lehenga balances it out almost perfectly. The red dainty dupatta with bold golden borders on her head has the bridal charm that every bride is looking for in her outfit.

The One With a Contrasting Dupatta

Now here’s a bride who chose a contrasting traditional dupatta and paired it beautifully with a pastel contemporary lehenga.

Bridal Red Sharara Kurta Set

While red is every bride’s first choice, Sikh brides tend to pull it off rather well. Here’s a bride that chose the perfect shade of red but opted for an easy-breezy sharara suit with intricate work instead for her big day. However, we are totally in awe of this bright and beautiful one and are sure to recommend this if your style is somewhat similar to this bride.

Plum Red Lehenga with Double Dupatta

Finally, on the list of Sikh brides that stole our hearts with their bridal outfit, we have the perfect example of a bride that chose a silk lehenga and carried it with a twist. This beautiful bride opted for a double dupatta look and chose a green velvet dupatta to create a contrast of colours and make her outfit stand out.

Subtle Mint Green Sharara Suit

This one for everyone that thinks Sikh brides choose elaborate outfits with bold colours only. This mint-green sharara suit is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The tiny floral motifs in pink, yellow, gold and blue with tassels on the layered tulle sharara make it the perfect fusion of modern and traditional styles. So for brides that like to play with subtle colours and fusion outfits, you know where to look for inspiration.

Peach Garara Set

One of our favourite bridal wear worn by a Sikh bride, this one is for all the brides that do not want to go in for a lehenga but rather choose something unique and yet very intricate.

The Double Dupatta Salwar Suit

Next on our list is a Sikh bride who chose the perfect red salwar suit for her big day. But what she did differently was to opt for a double dupatta look with a red dainty dupatta on her head and a peach heavily embellished organza dupatta around her shoulder to add an edge to her outfit.

Intricately Embellished Peach Anarkali

For the brides who thought Anarkali was outdated, check this Sikh bride out who didn’t just carry one for her big day but also nailed the look. The highlight of her outfit still has to be her choice of colour, as this dreamy peach Anarkali seems too good to be real.

Pretty Pastel Net Lehenga

While the common misconception is that Sikh brides like loud colours and designs, here’s one that’ll prove them wrong. The embellished lehenga in pastel colours makes for a perfect intimate backyard wedding outfit worn by a Sikh bride.

Classic Red Lehenga

Last but not least is this classic red lehenga worn by a Sikh bride that looks traditional and classy at the same time. This one is for brides who love to pick timeless outfits.

A Red Saree with Dupatta Combination

While Sikh brides are rarely seen leaning towards the traditional saree, here’s a bride that makes the exception and picked a red classic saree with heavy pallu and paired it with a red dupatta on her head to complete the look.

Fully Embellished Peach Gharara

While ghararas have undoubtedly been every bride’s current favourite, this Sikh bride chose a rather subtle colour and went all out with the embroidered embellishments on it. The net dupatta and the net gharara, however, make for our favourite part of her wedding outfit.

Double Layered Anarkali

A beautiful two-layered red Anarkali with intricate embroidery and simple border make for one of our most favourite wedding outfits chosen by Sikh brides. From its colour to its style and its design, there is absolutely nothing that we wouldn’t recommend you for your big day. Check out this bride designed her outfits & masks from scratch & the results will amaze you!

Blush Pink Lehenga with Roses

Another pick for brides with a minimalistic taste in fashion, this blush pink lehenga with beautiful red roses makes for a subtle bridal outfit for Sikh brides.

Mom’s Bridal lehenga with Contrasting Dupatta

Now here’s one of the most refreshing choices by a Sikh bride that chose to wear her mom’s bridal lehenga for her big day and renewed it with a double dupatta look. The contrasting green light dupatta on the side makes for the perfect addition to the otherwise traditional lehenga with a heavy antique zardosi work dupatta on the head.

Off-Shoulder Blouse and Lehenga with a Trail

Here’s a Sikh bride that chose to perfectly blend style and grace into her wedding outfit by choosing a fancy off-shoulder blouse and a red heavily embroidered lehenga. The trail of the lehenga, however, classifies this as one of the most dramatic picks amongst Sikh brides and we love it.

Green & Gold Beauty

Now here’s a bridal outfit that won our hearts almost instantly. A beautiful golden lehenga paired with a pretty green dupatta makes for a beautiful outfit worn by a Sikh bride.

Floral Pink Floor Length Gown

Last on our list is one of the most subtle floral outfits we’ve seen on brides for a long time. With a flowy chiffon fabric as the front, this bridal outfit seamlessly blends a net base showing from a slit in the front of the floor-length gown. The heavy jaal work on the sleeves and the torso along with the heavily embellished cutwork dupatta make for the highlight of this otherwise minimalistic bridal pick.

A Teal Green Beauty

For the Sikh brides that love unusual colours in monotone lehenga, here is the perfect teal green lehenga is worn by a real bride on her wedding day.
