In the words of Vishal Punjabi, aka, The Wedding Filmer who was the videographer for Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani's mesmerizing wedding, "She wanted to walk towards Sidharth on ‘Ranjha’, which is their song. “But it’s a sad song!” I argued. “But it’s our song!” She maintained! So we rewrote the lyrics with respect to fit the situation we were in, and suddenly, everyone’s dreams came true!"
We are just overjoyed about the fact that Ranjha which is a sad song about pain and separation was remade with lyrics that are all about love and happiness. Ranjha, the Sid-Kiara version is brimming with hope and that's all we need to hear.
