Engagement, followed by a Sangeet, followed by the Wedding, followed by the Reception—This is the same old pattern that we had been noticing in real weddings over and over again until we came across this super-duper wedding of the adorable couple, Shreya and Sunny. These lovelies ditched to walk the usual path and threw an intimate wedding at JW Marriott Mumbai first, which was then followed by a series of unique and funfilled ceremonies in Mussoorie, each of which was better than the other. Be it their close-knit Pajama party which saw everyone dressed in cute PJs & panda jumpers or their fancy white party that was pure fun, there is so much to adore from their wedding shenanigans. And of course, their impeccable outfit choices and quaint wedding decorations added all the more glamour to their vivacious revelries, brilliantly captured by the lens of The Photo Diary crew.

Cozy Pajama Party

One look through their cutesy pajama party and you'll just want to grab a mug of hot chocolate and join them right away. It was a perfect blend of warm colors and cozy vibes. Clad in panda hooded jumpers and fanciful night suits, everyone upped the cuteness quotient of the party. Those glistening fairy lights and crystalized chandeliers added to the beauty of this night.

However, if we were to steal something from this party it would definitely be Shreya's uber cute penguin hooded onesie (we can't stop crushing!)

Insane & fun White Party 

The decor for Shreya and Sunny's white party was way more exquisite than words can describe. With elements like white dream catchers, lace parasols, tall bird cages, and white blooms, the back lawns of the venue were completely transformed into a white fantasy wonderland. However, what stood out for us was the huge trampoline which forced everyone to jump and laugh with joy.

Staying true to the theme of the party, the guests and the couple color-coordinated with the decor of the venue. While Shreya donned an off-shoulder, thigh-high slit gown, Sunny opted for a white bandhgala with button details in the front.

Groovy Masquerade Ball

Shreya and Sunny's masquerade ball was one hell of a party to remember. It witnessed everyone wearing fancy masks and dancing their hearts out. The decorations for the ceremony were also centered around the masquerade theme with candle holders all decked with feathers and masks.

For their masquerade bash, Shreya wore an exceptionally feminine off-shoulder gown by Shobhika Bhandari and perfectly teamed it with an uncut diamond and emerald necklace. Sunny, on the other hand, kept it all simple yet classy in a wine tuxedo with a black bow tie.

Carnival themed bash

For the carnival-themed bash, the plush property of the venue was exquisitely wreathed with quirky decor elements like paper lanterns, flower vases, flashy signages and hanging paper fan medallions. To match up to the vibes of their carnival bash, Shreya wore a criss-cross patterned blouse in gold with a heavily embroidered skirt, while Sunny chose to complement her in a floral printed kurta-pajama with a sage green nehru jacket.

Jazzy Sangeet 

Shreya and Sunny's Sangeet was a starry affair with plenty of performances by the couple and their families. Pastel flower arrangements, vintage vases, antique standing lamps and quaint candle holders were all incorporated into this Sangeet.

For this function, Shreya opted for a statement Manish Malhotra lehenga with a plethora of dainty blooms and Sunny donned an all embroidered bandhgala from Sabyasachi.

Opulent Wedding

The setup for Shreya and Sunny's Mumbai wedding had us at first glance. Especially their mandap which was beautifully done with fresh and blooming multi-hued roses and cascading garlands. And how can we miss out on that ombre floral wall against which they sat for their pheras. 

Sunny entered the wedding venue in style with all those dhols & nagadas, while Shreya left everyone bedazzled by arriving under a shaandar phoolon ki chaadar.

Shreya made a breathtakingly beautiful bride in an all embellished tomato red lehenga with an off-shoulder blouse tailored by Manish Malhotra. Complementing her wedding attire, she wore a polki and emerald princess necklace, a crescent-shaped maang tikka, and a basic nath. Sunny too made a dapper groom in his ivory belted sherwani from Sabyasachi which he perfectly teamed with an emerald mala.
