If two hearts are meant to be together, then no matter how long it takes, how far they are or how tough it seems, fate will bring them together, no matter what. And that was exactly what happened in this beautifully blissful story between Shivani and Suvansh. A love story that involves a long-distance relationship, two neighbouring cities and an adorable couple madly in love, Shivani and Suvansh are the epitome of true love that can withstand going the distance.

Their Everlasting Love Story

Originally from Delhi and Jaipur respectively, Shivani met Suvansh while pursuing her masters from NIFT Jodhpur.  While on an industrial visit to Jaipur, they were introduced to each other by mutual friends. That one serendipitous meeting led to a three-year-long relationship that eventually turned into a happy marriage. Their distance only gave them a reason to love each other harder.

"We worked out various ways of meeting each other, from monthly visits to hours of video calls and non-stop messaging," Shivani reminiscents, "It was like the universe was bringing us together with each passing day."

They knew from the very beginning that there was a spark between them.

The Wedding Festivities

With the city being a crucial part of their love story, the couple's choice of city for their destination wedding was Jodhpur. Held at the prestigious Welcome ITC Hotel in Jodhpur, the festivities lasted for two days. Both the bride and groom's near and dear ones gathered for an intimate affair comprising of four functions- Mehendi, Sangeet/Engagement, Haldi and the main Wedding ceremony. The hotel's grandeur only added to the extravagance of the wedding, with each ceremony being adorned with eye-catching decor and unlimited celebration.

A Quirky Mehendi

The merrymaking of the #SuShi wedding began with a riveting Mehendi ceremony where both sides got together for a party awash with bright blue and pink decor, foot-tapping music, and smiles on every face. For her mehendi, the bride dressed up in a flowy blush pink lehenga choli from designer Mahima Mahajan and the groom colour matched with her in a dashing kurta-pyjama and Nehru jacket from Qbik. This pool-side mehendi displayed everyone having the time of their lives, with unending booze, carefree dance moves and whatnot. What won our hearts the most was our cheerful bride and groom enjoying their mehendi to the fullest, with not a worry in the world! While the ceremony itself was a whole party, we didn't fail to notice the bride's uber-chic floral jewellery from Flosaira.

The Sangeet & Engagement Gala

The event next in line was the Engagement cum Sangeet ceremony. With all things magical, from the fairytale-like decor to decked up guests, everything had us obsessing over the couple sangeet function. The bride and groom not only delivered lovey-dovey performances with each other but also dedicated to each other. Plus, there's nothing better at a sangeet than family members coming together to deliver exciting and well-choreographed performances while paying ode to the couple's love story. The bride chose to wear a regal wine coloured off-shoulder gown by Shantanu and Nikhil, while the groom decided to keep it minimal with a dapper full black tuxedo from Unit by Rajat Suri. And let's not forget the big shiny bling of the stone on her finger which had us swooning!

A Joyous Haldi

The haldi ceremony was adorned with bright yellow decor where the bride and groom both dressed down for the event. Bubbling with energy, this ceremony witnessed showers of love and playfulness from friends and family. While Shivani was dressed in a simple yet vibrant yellow and red tie and dye saree with brilliant floral jewellery from Flosaira, Suvansh decided to keep it minimal with a simple off-white kurta. Our favourite part? The whimsical friends and family members dousing the couple in haldi as they laughed with pure joy.

The Magnificent Wedding Ceremony

Shivani and Suvansh tied the knot in a picturesque outdoor setting with a beige and blush pink decor embellished with an array of flowers. The bride, Shivani, was dressed in a regal bright red lehenga with gold, blue and pastel pink embroidery by Asiana Couture with nude makeup that was adorned with heavy polki and gold jewellery from RaAbta by Rahul. The groom, Suvansh, was wearing a biege sherwani with a sequins embroidered collar, an outfit truely fit for royalty. As all grand affairs go, the main wedding day was nothing less of an extravaganza.
