We all grew up hearing how opposites attract. Now when I look back and try to make sense of it all, I understand that an attraction towards qualities and features that one might not have in themselves might be a given but to make it work, compatibility has to be built. To me, that is the most beautiful thing ever, putting in effort and nurturing your relationship no matter how different you and your partner are, compared to each other.

One such example of an inspiring relationship is the one between Saurabh Gupta and Aarti Panjwani who had a royal wedding in Leela Palace, Jaipur with a stunning Rajasthani architecture backdrop. From unique Mexican carnival haldi to a Matrix theme Sangeet night, Saurabh and Aarti's wedding served up a spectrum of colours and celebratory spirits.

Let's get to know them and all about their fairytale wedding!

Introducing Saurabh and Aarti

Saurabh and Aarti first met as neighbours when Saurabh's family shifted to Gwalior from Mumbai. Destiny did its thing there and the two of them started dating. Saurabh worked in the trading business while Aarti was a chartered accountant. They did not have many similarities between them but they knew one thing for sure, more than anything else, they enjoy and respect each other's company.

Having known each other for five years, Saurabh and Aarti decided it was time to tie the knot and so they did. They picked out The Leela Palace, Jaipur as their wedding venue and had the most heartwarming and picturesque wedding with 300 attendees that were gifted a personalised sweets box with jute bags. Scroll down to know all the beautiful details of #WhenRTmetRB dreamy wedding.

Bohemian-Themed Mehendi Ceremony

The wedding festivities kickstarted with a mehendi ceremony that was Bohemian-themed, abundant with some lovely flora and quirky props. The seating arrangements were made comfy including plush sofas and pretty chairs draped with tulles, rustic paraphernalia, and hashtag signages, all added to the lively boho vibe of the occasion. The tropical paradise theme was lovely and the fun music did full justice to it.

The bride wore a stunning teal crop top with a flowy lehenga and the groom looked handsome in his white kurta pyjama paired with a floral Nehru jacket. From DJ to the couple’s memorable performance everything set a rousing tone for the morning celebration.

Unique Matrix & Electronic Theme Sangeet Night

The Matrix and electronic-themed Sangeet evening were packed with joy and unparalleled energy. The quirky decor of the sangeet ceremony had neon elements along with the golden decor looked otherworldly. Whether it was the magnificent entrance with a detailed walkway that made the most of the ostentatious style of the venue. Or, the rich gold dust palette ruled the décor which was evident in the soft furnishings, props, Champagne tower, themed neon signs and elegant floral arrangements. The sangeet venue was infused with golden glitter and lit strategically to create an illusion of a matrix.

Oh! They also had beautiful Russian dancers to keep the guests enthralled along with Tanavora dancers, the Tamasha band and the much-rehearsed family performances.

Coming now to our bride-to-be, Aarti looked like a dream in her long-trail golden embellished gown and Saurabh complemented her beautifully wearing his black suit with a bow tie. Don't they look cute together?!

Fun-filled Mexican Carnival Haldi Ceremony

Post the glam sangeet party of Saurabh and Aarti it was now time for a fun-filled haldi ceremony that was inspired by a Mexican carnival. It was full of fun and vibrant decor and we spotted some cool elements like Russian dancers, jokers on stilts, fancy hats, masquerades, and floral garlands, all added to the carnival vibe. The couple had the time of their lives enjoying cool wedding games such as (Jenga, Toss the ring, and Ludo), cute dance performances, customised drinks and food. Oh! And the Flamingo Trio set the bar on fire with their personalised glasses and signature drinks.

For the haldi function, Aarti was spotted in an enchanting sunshine lehenga with a ruffled dupatta and the groom matched her perfectly wearing a gorgeous yellow bandhgala.

Royal Palace Wedding in Jaipur

Talking about D-day, Saurabh and Aarti's wedding was as mesmerizing as it gets. The decor was kept royal and elegant where the stage décor emulated lush forests, with hues of white and green thrown into the exotic setting through huge chandeliers and numerous candelabras and thikri work verticals. Also, Baraat was high on energy as the groom entered with his entourage with happy guests dancing their way. Aarti entered under a GORG floral chadar with Diya lamps alongside, looking ethereal in her traditional red bridal lehenga by Payal Keyal

For their royal palace wedding, the groom wore a dazzling white sherwani and the bride wore an alluring red lehenga with heavy embellishments. There are not enough words to describe just how magnificent their palatial wedding was.

Aayushi Modi, Founder, of Hitch Key Weddings, concludes, “We left no stone unturned to make Saurabh and Aarti’s dream come true and ensured they look back on happy memories that’ll last a lifetime. Every décor detail was looked into meticulously and executed with utter professionalism.”

Final Words

WeddingBazaar wishes Saurabh and Aarti a very happy married life!
