Welcome to our new identity. Welcome to WeddingBazaar!

A vivid colour palette, soaked in regalia, splayed with traditional accents, and hell lots of oomph – that’s one way to describe Guneet Grewal’s wedding wardrobe. The Canadian politician got hitched to famous Punjabi singer Parmish Verma in an extravagant yet intimate wedding earlier this year. The zestful Punjabi wedding soiree comprised a jovial jaggo night and a serene Anand Karaj ceremony Now that the wedding season is upon us, we can’t help but revisit her ogle-worthy lehenga choices. You never know if something strikes right and you end up seeking some major inspiration!

Guneet wore some stunning designer lehengas for her wedding revelries, and also doled out some major styling lessons you should definitely not miss.

Geet Grewal Wore The Designer Lehengas

Multi-hued Sabyasachi Lehenga for Engagement

Guneet Grewal looked utterly gorgeous in a floral-burst Sabyasachi lehenga at the intimate engagement ceremony. The lehenga came with a green blouse with a heavy-embroidered floral skirt. The bride opted for a double dupatta look featuring a matching dupatta and a red organza veil with kiran trims. She styled it with a minimal choker along with a statement mangtikka, and a pair of heavy earrings. Make-up in soft tones, nude lips & a green bindi gracefully completed her look. She balanced the vibrant outfit with minimal, soft-hued make-up.

Orange Manish Malhotra Lehenga For Jaggo

Punjabi weddings are not complete without a dance-filled jaggo night! Parmish and Guneet hosted an extravagant jaggo night for their loved ones.  For the do, Guneet slipped into a regal orange lehenga from designer  Manish Malhotra's coveted collection. The muted-orange ensemble also featured lavender accents at the hem. Quiet a refreshing colour combination, we must say! PS: the ornate embroideries on her outfit are oh-so-wow! She rocked the look with heavy jewels, natural makeup and braided hair.

Regal Red Manish Malhotra Lehnga For Anand Karaj

Guneet channelled her inner Maharani and embraced an ethereal red Manish Malhotra lehenga. Splayed with intricate gold work all over the expanse, the ensemble gave a new definition to the word regal. Guneet bedecked herself with gobs of jewels and nailed the maximalist styling. She donned layered necklaces with emerald details, an elaborate duo of passa and mangtikka, an oversized nath and a matching pair of earrings! Traditional golden kaleeras and a red chooda set rounded off her Punjabi bride look.

Final Words

To be honest, each look is better than the other and we definitely can't decide our favourite best. However, a key takeaway from Guneet's wedding looks is how she opted for a vivid colour palette, and rocked completely different hues at each ceremony. Another inspirational element is the jewellery styling. The diva bride either went completely minimal or didn't shy away from embracing a maximalist look. We hope you found this blog useful!
