We have heard many stories where a friend or relative has played the role of cupid in joining two hearts. But in Rutuja & Saurabh’s lives, a dog made their hearts unite. When Rutuja was moving to the USA for higher education in 2016, she had to give her dog to another family to look after her. She gave her dog Coco to her Nani’s neighbours. She never got the chance to meet them. In 2019, when she was preparing to move back home to India, she received a message from a guy. She immediately recognized him to be Saurabh. The same guy she had left the little Coco with. Their first date was a four-hour-long walk in Central London. Their journey was no less than a rollercoaster for sure.
Introducing Rutuja & Saurabh
The colourful decor definitely set the mood for the festival. The multi-coloured drapes added all the colours for the event. The gendaphool decoration added grace. The great detailing such as bangles and pearls, looked beautiful. Rutuja donned in a simple blue salwar suit with a mustard dupatta. Along with her other jewellery, she also added a minimal nath to her look. Saurabh complemented the bride in a beige kurta set.

Rutuja added an emotional element in her Choodha ceremony by dressing up in her mom's saree. The function took place at her house only. The minimal home decor with drapes and flowers is #goals! Instead of red choodha, she opted for green and golden bangles. Isn't it unique?
We spotted the bride in a shimmery and glimmery light green saree. The embellished saree had golden detailing. She kept her hair in a loose bun which looked elegant. The jewellery she opted was minimal. She wore earrings and a simple necklace. Saurabh kept it royal in a royal blue bandhgala with golden buttons.
For the haldi function, the couple twinned in yellow outfits. Rutuja looked gorgeous in a yellow banarasi-silk saree. She also added gajras to her hairstyle. She opted for layered jewellery, Maharashtrian nosepin and contrasting bangles. The couple surely had a fun time, as we can see from the pictures.

The wedding decor was minimal & intimate. For the wedding outfit, the bride chose none other than Sabyasachi. She looked absolutely stunning in a red classic Sabyasachi Saree, while the groom looked dapper in an ivory sherwani. She adorned temple jewellery with the outfit. Her bridal entry was super cute with her friends & family. They exchanged rose varmalas which looked pretty.
Her Pure Zari Kanjivaram made her look like a royal queen. The colour contrast of red & golden was amazing. Saurabh stood tall in his smart tuxedo suit. Their white floral wedding cake was also the highlight of the event. The reception stage decor was all floral & illustrious.
