Anant Ambani also wore dazzling brooches of his favourite animals at each wedding function with his love for them close to his heart (quite literally) Radhika served some of the most legendary looks, as notes for centuries of fashion textbooks to come! Her floral dupatta was a trend we saw reeling everywhere as brides experimented with glass, beads and interesting materials for their veil and dupatta!

Rakul Preet and Jacky Bhagnani hose to get married among the lush palms and grainy sands of Goa, with their love sailing through in the salty air! What we loved most out of all their amazing wedding elements was their commitment to reducing the carbon footprint their wedding created by planting one tree each for all of their guests and seeing them thrive in an orchard of natural bounty!

Panjabi Kudi Taapsee Pannu chose to hide her wedding from the paparazzi with her century-young love Mathias Bose but did we bat eyelids? Sure, we didn't! Fukrey star Pulkit Samrat married actress Kriti Kharbanda in style at the ITC Grand Bharat, Gurugram. Their pastel-coordinated outfits in unique silhouettes set goals and were pinned on every mood board! Miss India Earth Sobhita Dhulipala married Chaitanya Akkineni at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad in an 8-hour long, lavish wedding celebration that honoured all celebrations and couture of Telugu Weddings. We loved how the bride chose to wear her mother-in-law's saree, and grandmother's jewellery, have Goddess Durga-inspired decorations at her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony that came as a waft of warm air that brushes on your cheeks when you come home to love!

8. Ira Khan & Nupur Shikhare

Amir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan married her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare, a renowned celebrity fitness coach in a ubiquitous saga of ceremonies unique to this couple and their choices that we are in awe of! Nupur jogged down 8 km from his residence to their wedding registry venue where his bride was waiting for him in a candy pink dhoti, velvet embroidered choli and dupatta. The wedding celebrations continued to Taj Aravalli, Udaipur with welcome family dinners and a Christian wedding for this couple of multiple faiths but united as one in love.
