Last year, we shared the story of Aditya's proposal to his long-time girlfriend Supriya Kapoor in the most adorable possible way and today we are back with all the deets about their intimate wedding which took place at a luxury property in Raajkutir, Kolkata.

We also had the opportunity to chat with the lovely bride, Supriya about Aditya and her journey from the proposal to the big day. This is what she had to say about that rollercoaster of a journey, "We knew we're gonna end up together, but as people we both love proposals. 30th July 2021, Adi proposed to me in our favourite place, Cafe Tesu in Delhi. It was everything. I always had this feeling in me, that I couldn't just give Adi the ring I bought for him. I wanted to make it special too. Our 'to be' home was under renovation when I took some help from Gad & Rek and had our den done up to ask Adi a very important question, "Would he make this house a home with me?" He said yes. Finally, the big day happened. We were given the date "Nine-Nine" i.e September 9th for our wedding, and as Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans, we couldn't have been happier. It was still during covid so we had a humble 50 people wedding with our family and friends around to celebrate!"

Introducing Supriya Kapoor & Aditya Gurwara

And It Kickstarted With The Mehendi Function

Supriya Kapoor and Aditya Gurwara's first wedding function was the mehendi function where their nearest and dearest ones donned sophisticated and chic outfits. While some of the bridesmaids donned florals, our dear bride wore a regal green suit with a golden detailing suit. The bride paired medium-sized earrings to amp up her outfit.

The Rager Sangeet Night

For their sangeet function, the duo kept 'Jewels of Navratna' as a theme. The bride and groom’s family set not only the dance floor on fire but in fact, had everyone on the edge of their seats with their cocktail celebrations. Our dear bride Supriya went with a heavy yellow and blue embellished lehenga and donned a sweet little maangtikka. While Supriya dazzled in yellow, our groom went with a more classic look by opting for a blue gala band. Even Dhruv, the elder brother went with a blue gala band. We also saw some amazing performances from the groom’s family!

A White Haldi!

Aditya and Supriya’s haldi was no ordinary one. To begin with, the couple went with traditional shades of Red, Orange, Yellow and Magenta colours where they gifted their guests Phulkari dupattas. Our dapper groom, Aditya Gurwara was seen in a basic white kurta and the gorgeous bride, Supriya in a pretty chikankari white lehenga. While they ruled the function in white, the rest of the family members went with different tones. Their haldi function seemed exceptionally fun just how this function is supposed to be!

After the haldi function was done, Supriya changed into a beautiful pink saree for her Kaleere ceremony; showing us how simplicity is the ultimate sophistication!

A Day Wedding Of Our Dreams!

Supriya and Aditya decided to go for a day wedding with an ivory white and gold theme and we think that it was a fab choice cuz their wedding looks so warm and fulfilling which may have necessarily not been the case had it been a night wedding. For one, everyone looked supercharged and well-rested.

Secondly, the ‘all white’ baraat was so kickass with the amazing dance moves and surreal outfits that we couldn’t help but simply swoon over their wedding.

For her big day, Supriya Kapoor went with a quintessential red bridal lehenga by Debyani & Co and paired contrasting green jewellery with it. Aditya on the other hand stuck to the white theme and donned an ivory white royal printed sherwani.

On the other hand, our bride Supriya revealed, "Adi and I planned the food menu in a way to have all our guests experience the taste of Bengal beautifully, something we both are obsessed with. The food was beyond delicious and one thing our family and friends speak about to date."

A Regal Reception Ceremony

While we couldn’t get all the deets of the reception ceremony, we did manage to find out that the reception ceremony was a formal sit-down dinner with an all-black fusion. Aditya wore a three-piece sharp black suit and Supriya wore a breathtaking black saree. The bride also went all out and got smokey eye makeup which complemented her overall look exceptionally well!

Final Words From The Bride

Supriya also tells us, "We're still doing up our home slowly and it ain't the easiest. We're taking care of our baby dog Floppy, cribbing about Mondays, and complaining about adulting, but we're just glad we get to do this together. It makes it all so much easier!"
