Fashion stylist and film producer Rhea Kapoor got married to her longtime beau Karan Boolani in an intimate home wedding in Mumbai. The photos from their close-knit wedding celebration have surfaced on the internet and we’re already gushing over the details.

Rhea and Karan have been together for over a decade and got hitched in an intimate home wedding amid the presence of only immediate family and close friends including Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Masaba Gupta and Kunal Rawal among others. Skipping a quintessential multi-day soiree, the couple wrapped up celebrations in a single day.

Fashion connoisseur Rhea Kapoor, who is also the force behind Sonam’s distinctive style quotient, of course, set major bridal fashion trends with her wedding look! Not only did she wear a white chanderi saree for the D-day (despite being a Punjabi) but also introduced us to never-seen-before pearl veils! *Can’t wait for this to become a raging bridal trend already* 😍

Introducing Rhea Kapoor & Karan Boolani

Warm, joyous, and oozing with love! That’s the vibe Rhea and Karan’s at-home wedding ceremony exuded. The couple clad themselves in muted-tone outfits. Rhea, a legit fashion queen, ditched the traditional look and slipped into a voguish cape chanderi saree from her go-to designer Anamika Khanna. She reached out to her mom’s coveted jewellery trousseau and picked the most stunning pearl and polki creations for her wedding look. Heirloom jewels for the win, always!

However, the MVP of Rhea’s wedding look turned out to be the pearl veil she wore over her head. Exclusively created by Bhirdichand Jewellers, the veil took the whole look together and gave a glimpse of Rhea’s prowess as a style icon! Nude make-up amped with sharp eyeliner and open hair completed her look.

Filmmaker Karan Boolani looked dapper as he complimented his ladylove in a cactus motif mixed-thread embroidered linen bandhgala with a classic beige kurta and ivory breech pants by Kunal Rawal with a red safa. The Starry Family At Rhea and Karan's Wedding

The family was dressed in their glamorous best for the much-awaited wedding. Sonam Kapoor slipped into an ornate Anarkali suit paired with glitter bomb juttis from Fizzy Goblet, while other bridesmaids like Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi, Shanaya and Masaba Gupta frolicked about in their stunning shararas & lehengas! 

Father of the bride Anil Kapoor was in his ‘jhakaaas’ element in a vibrant blue ensemble. And how can we miss the dapper brothers of the bride - Arjun Kapoor who wore Kunal Rawal's cobalt blue arrow motif embroidered kurta for the wedding ceremony! Oh! And, designer Kunal Rawal who wore his label that was olive ikat linework kurta and Mohit Marwah in Kunal Rawal's dull gold silk overlap kurta - a modern take on the achkan with interesting yoke accents.

Post-wedding Party

The recently-wed couple Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani also hosted a post-wedding party for their close friends and family members. It was a rather casual affair with Rhea dressed in a printed kaftan. The couple had a mini cake-cutting ceremony to embark on the new beginnings on a sweet note!

For the do, Sonam was dressed in a black pleated gown. Janhvi Kapoor added glitz to the party with her shimmer white pants and sequin blue top. Khushi turned up in a white floral dress while Shanaya raised the temperature in black bodycon separates.
