Just when we thought that we were finally (getting) over Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh's exuberant wedding festivities, a recent bride, Ravina took us back to the time when we almost killed the keyboard keys while journaling Deepika's regal bridal looks.

You know how we all went crazy when Deepika Padukone's photos as a bride surfaced the Internet! Didn't we? The inner bride-to-be in all of us secretly desired to get married looking as surreal as her. Well, the bride we are talking about fulfilled her wish of having a bridal look similar to Deepika's by wearing the same Sabyasachi lehenga. And we can't stop envying her!

The bride, Ravina wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga similar to the one Deepika embraced at her Sindhi-style wedding. The red lehenga featuring 'Sada Saubhagyawati Bhava' embroidered on its dupatta had become an instant rage and no one could stop talking about it! Ravina wore the same much-talked-about-outfit and pulled it off with endless elan. Ravina sent us in a frenzy with her bridal look! Unlike Deepika's simplistic blouse, Ravina opted for a heavily embroidered one. She flaunted the identical dupatta with prominent jaalidaar work and Sanskrit inscriptions.

Her all-red lehenga featured dainty sequin clusters spread all across and also boasted of the similar heavy border with identical peacock motif embroideries as seen on Deepika's Anand Karaj lehenga. However, another noteworthy element on Ravina's wedding look was that her lehenga's waistbelt was also embroidered with the Sanskrit enchant.

Spilling the beans of her Deepika-inspired bridal look, the bride narrates her journey of buying the wedding lehenga from her (& every girl's) dream designer, Sabyasachi.

"I was pretty sure that my wedding lehenga would be none other than Sabyasachi and this particular lehenga was the latest in his collection and also different from the usual ones. The skirt wasn't heavily embellished, instead it balanced the heavy dupatta. The 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' on the belt made it unique as well."

The bride further shared that she especially got the lehenga customized,

"I am glad Sabyasachi and his team finally agreed to customize which they weren't willing to do at first. The blouse that Deepika wore was plain zero-neck but I wanted the signature Sabya choli-cut but with embroidery according to the body type. So they definitely charged extra for it but they did it and it was totally worth it."

Her massive jewellery was another prominent aspect that defined her bridal look. Giving a tough competition to Shloka Mehta's gigantic bridal haar, Ravina teamed her wedding lehenga with a huge polki and emerald layered haar. She sourced the jewels from a Dubai-based company called Diastone. The bride even stacked her wrists with gobs of bangles and a quintessential set of Punjabi red chooda. For the makeup touches, Ravina chose our vendor, Samaira Sandhu Makeup who did a great job to accentuate the bride's natural beauty on her D-day. Samaira highlighted her eyes with shimmery and smokey strokes and gave her bold red lips. A tiny red bindi completed her bridal look, making her look like a diva rooted in traditions.
