Pratik & Anu matched on the dating app, happn, at The Chai Spot in NYC. Their first date went on for hours at a pizza spot where they both learned a lot about each other particularly that they are聽both chai lovers. The sweetness and warmth of chai brought them closer. Gradually, Pratik & Anu fell in love with each other.聽Pratik proposed to Anu on a surprise trip to Cancun with a romantic sunflower beach picnic. Of course, she said yes and now they are husband and wife!

Sweet & Simple Mehendi Ceremony聽

Pratik & Anu had a rather unique Mehendi ceremony. With her beautiful personalized bridal Mehendi and her stunning printed Versace crop top and skirt outfit, Anu looked super cute. We loved the idea of lanterns at the Mehendi ceremony! Oh! And, her customised bridal mehndi is worth zooming in for minute details of her love story.聽

The Sangeet night of聽Pratik & Anu was a lovely blend of Jaggo and Garba. Pratik coordinated with Anu's outfit wearing a sophisticated lavender kurta, pyjama and jacket set.聽

For the Sangeet Ceremony, envisioning our beachside sangeet with autumnal allure, I imagined a pavilion adorned in vibrant fall flowers and seasonal decor, creating an enchanting atmosphere for our celebration by the water. The infusion of deep red accents, inspired by the richness of my crimson attire, added a captivating contrast against the lake backdrop. As the evening sun set, casting a mesmerizing glow over the scene, the carefully curated hues seamlessly blended with the beach's natural beauty. This transformed our sangeet into a visually captivating experience, celebrating the spirit of autumn and the thoughtful design that defined our special celebration both by the shore and indoors.

For the Wedding Day, I had imagined a blush floral wooden mandap for my ceremony. After multiple calls and sharing ideas with our decor team, we loved the idea of pops of red on the mandap to work with my beautiful red lehenga. The wooden and floral mandap, set against the picturesque Vermont mountain, served as a striking focal point. The colour palette stood out against the beautiful green mountains. As the morning sun rose behind the mandap during setup, it cast a magical glow over the entire scene. It was an absolute pleasure to experience that. The blush and red colour on the mandap and the aisle to the natural surroundings created a visually captivating atmosphere. The carefully curated elements came together to form a stunning backdrop, showcasing the beauty of the outdoors and the thoughtful design that transformed the space into a captivating visual spectacle.

For The Reception Party, when you hear a barn wedding reception you think rustic, so we picked a ton of greens with some white as our colour palette. Greens and scattered candles throughout the venue created an inviting and enchanting ambience. The twinkling lights, meticulously strewn across the space, added a touch of magic, casting a warm and welcoming glow. The backdrop featured a unique square tree-like structure adorned with hanging lanterns and glass globes, mirroring the effect of twinkling lights all over the space. This focal point added a distinctive and captivating element to the overall decor. Unlike the typical round tables, we exclusively had long tables which were meticulously adorned with tall floral centrepieces, lush green runners, and candles, creating a cohesive and visually appealing tableau.
