Every once in a while we come across a real wedding that warms our hearts and sweeps us off of our feet. It was Palak and Kabir's intimate disney-inspired seaside wedding that made us go all "aww" this time. From the couple's cute chemistry to the groom's fur siblings who were also a part of the wedding, everything from Palak and Kabir's wedding won us over again and again.

Introducing Palak & Kabir

Palak and Kabir first met at a friend's birthday party. It was God's will that they keep coming across each other and so they did. One fine day, Kabir DM'd Palak on Instagram and that's where their conversations began. It took just 3 days for them to fall in love with each other. Both of them have their unique personalities but their core values are the same.

Kabir and Palak are the living proof of the "opposites attract" archetype. They dated for 6 years before they tied the knot and in those six years they went through their fair share of fights and arguments but their love for each other kept them close! Mehendi

Palak and Kabir had a bohemian Mehendi celebration. Palak wore a red and white custom-made lehenga with Parsi, Zardosi embroidery, and huge royal elephant motifs. She skipped the dupatta to ensure carefree movement and limitless fun. We loved her snaeakers with vivid red fringes, gold coins and ghungroos! Kabir, on the other hand, wore a teal and silver kurta pyjama with a waist coat for this fun-filled event!

Ganesh Sthapna & Mandap Muhurat

For the holy Ganesh Sthapana and Mandap Muhurat, the couple wore deep hues that stood out beautifully. Palak wore a stunning blue green lehenga with matching banglesand a Kamarbandh. Kabir went for an earthy brown and deep blue kurta pyjama.

Haldi

The Haldi ceremony of Palak and Kabir was as beautiful as a sweet dream. With fresh sunflowers and banana leaves making for a fresh and cheerful decor, Palak and Kabir's Haldi ceremony was a cute blend of traditional and modern elements. Palak wore a green custom-stitched off-shoulder dress made from pure handwoven tissue silk from Banaras. Kabir wore a coral and white kurta pyjama which gave the perfect contrast to Palak's outfit.

Wedding

Palak and Kabir had an intimate wedding at a private property by the beach with cave like interiors and a sprawling verdant outdoor space by the sea. For her bridal outfit Palak chose hues of a sunset sky: orange and purple. Her bridal lehenga which was from Bindani by designers Jigar and Nikita, was lush with zardozi, cutdaana, sequined embroidery, french knots and Nakshi work. She also carried a long lilac veil with her bridal outfit. She also wore her matching customized sneakers. Kabir's custom-made groom outfit was from designer Runit Gupta. He wore a dusty ivory jacket and kurta with an all over lotus acrylic cut-out embroidery.

After Party

Palak and Kabir didn't want to go for a regular reception party. So, they had an after party right after their wedding with their loved ones. Kabir's fur siblings, Danny and Daisy also joined them for this joyful celebration. The after party was disney-themed and the newlyweds dressed up accordingly. Palak wore a cute white top with big puffy sleeves and a long coral skirt with a bow at the front. Kabir wore a pretty yellow and white kurta pyjama with an embroidered nehru jacket.
