About how they met and their journey, our bride Niharika said, “We are childhood family friends, both of us were together in school for a few years and then Ayush went to The Doon School, Dehradun and I went to Scindia Girls School and then MGD, Jaipur. After our schooling, we were together in the same college and that's how we got really close and we started dating in our first year of college. We have been together for almost 9 years now.”

A Dreamy Intimate Wedding Day

This madly in love couple tied the knot on 14th February 2020 (can’t get cheesier than this) in an intimate day wedding in Angra. They had a two-day wedding celebration and Niharika likes to say, "It was a crazy and not-so-hectic affair because we wanted to enjoy every function thoroughly of our wedding, which we did. We did not want too many rituals throughout our wedding and we are happy our families supported us with that decision."

One of the things that we couldn’t help but loved was the fact that this couple wanted a wedding which was all about equality and for that they let go of rituals which didn’t comfort them such as Kanyadaan, separate pujas, wearing of Mangalsutra among others.

About having a blast at their wedding, Niharika tells us, "Whoever says that the couple or their families do not have fun at their wedding was super wrong cause we had the time of our lives with no regrets and wouldn't have done it any other way. Our wedding was all about celebrating love, dancing till our feet hurt and enjoying every bit of it with our most beloved people by our side!"
