It's truly astounding the way we celebrate Indian wedding with utmost pride and decadence. With every wedding that spaces our inbox we're left in sheer reverence, admiring the beauty and elegance of Indian weddings. Whether they're subtle and minimal weddings in a mandir or big fat royal soirees in palaces and forts, there's an unmatched beauty of Indian wedding rituals and processions and we're absolutely proud of how the wedding makers are taking weddings to different levels.

For us, 2018 has already been a starrer when it comes to weddings. We have quite literally witnessed some of the best Indian weddings till now. And, it continues to get bigger and better and definitely grander with Zubin & Aashna's resplendent Umaid Bhawan Palace wedding in Jodhpur. With a personalized chartered plane to fly the guests to an entirely new concept of Drunch, this wedding was all sorts of opulent with bits of fancies and is bound to give you some serious royal wedding goals.

The tale of a perfect proposal

Life isn't perfect but proposals can be! And, pre-wedding shoots can be the perfect setup and occasion to pop the question surprisingly. Even though you're about to tie the knot, every couple needs to experience the bliss that comes with a proposal.

Zubin, being more of a planner, formally proposed to Aashna in the Maldives while Aashna thought it was merely a pre-wedding shoot. Yes! She was clueless about the proposal and there's all beauty in being that way. She was taken to an isolated cabana at the Taj Exotica amidst the ocean with champagne, flowers and the Ring! *Romantic level 101*

This was the beginning of a one-of-a-kind fairytale wedding #A2Z!

A million-dollar Masquerade Ball

The celebrations kick started with a fancy Masquerade ball party with the bride donned in a shimmery cold shoulder and thigh-high slit emerald gown which looked absolutely flattering and the groom tucked himself dapper in a classic black tux with minimal sequin detailing on the collar. The decor for the Masquerade ball was themed around masks and vintage flowers with personalized everything. The bar was definitely the show stopper for the evening. The gathering was masked in mystery and draped in decadence and it was nothing short of a dream. 

Swanky Pool Side Drunch

This Pool Side Drunch (Brunch+Drinks) saw cabanas beautifully made up of elegant mirror pillars reflecting illuminating the space while in broad daylight. The speciality of this Drunch scene was the exclusive Bars set up by The Wedding Bartenders. There were four different bar setups for everyone at one single venue and the guests couldn't have asked for more. We love the mirror signages to the core!

Shimmery Sangeet Night

The couple made an elegant and dramatic entry with cold pyros and Kanchi Godhi dance to give a local touch. The magical evening was set up in a concert hall, beautifully decorated with vintage flowers and LED screens. Musical rockstar, Guru Randhawa set the space ablaze with his power-packed performances. The bride and the groom look resplendent; elegantly colour-contrasting each other. 

The Royal Umaid Bhawan Wedding

We'd be lying if we say this wedding was just another big fat Indian destination wedding, it was a three-day tour to a magic land. The Umaid Bhawan property in itself is the epitome of royalness and with the ablest decorator's and planners team onboard (Yolo Entertainment & Weddings, Vivaah & The Wedding Co. ), the property was taken to the four moon passion.

While Aashna looked absolutely regal in a statement Sabyasachi velvet lehenga, draped with double dupatta, Zubin made sure he looks nothing short of a Prince charming in a pale gold embellished sherwani, accessorized elegantly with a Sabyasachi dupatta and layered pearl mala.

Undoubtedly, Jodhpur celebrated the #A2Z couple with great pomp and show like true royalty.
