In 2015, Krishma and Dhiraj met each other at a mutual friend’s wedding in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia! And during their Seoul trip, Dhiraj popped the question in 2019. For the last three years, the couple has been struggling to tie the knot in a Hindu traditional wedding style. 

They got married to each other after 3 years of getting engaged. Covid made them push the date thrice. But finally, they found solace in each other with their dreamy destination wedding. In the laps of scenic beauty, the couple completed the pheras in Thailand. The bride truly lived her fantasy with all the top Indian designer outfits. From Sabyasachi to Manish Malhotra to Anita Dongre and Arpita Mehta, the bride had her fashion week.  

Introducing Krishma & Dhiraj

Dreamy Proposal 

The couple went for a romantic trip to Seoul. And as we shared earlier, Dhiraj Bhojwani popped the question in midst of the beautiful location. The proposal pictures are truly heartwarming. 

Bridgerton- Esq Bridal Shower 

Looking surreal in a pristine white lehenga, bride-to-be, Krishma Sood wore a STUNNING Shivan and Narresh outfit for her bridgerton- Esq bridal shower.  Paired with pearl studded mathapatti & earrings by Outhouse Jewellery she kept her makeup look bold and beautiful for her pre-wedding festivities. Also, don't miss to bookmark her pearl embellished belt that went perfect with the white lehenga design. 

Beachside Pre-Wedding Shoot

Dazzling in Amit Aggarwal's lavender lehenga, Krishma looked drop-dead gorgeous for her beach pre-wedding photoshoot. With a high bun hairstyle, soft makeup and minimal jewellery the bride-to-be looked apt for her dreamy beachside pre-wedding shoot. On the other hand, Dhiraj wore a pant-suit by Khanijo that complimented him well with Krishma. 

Romantic Welcome Cocktail

The wedding festivities were kicked off with a welcome dinner. And for the shubh arambh, Krishma opted an embellished lehenga by Suneet Varma. The peach-coloured lehenga with sequin detailing was beautifully completed with a ruffled dupatta. Dhiraj kept it simple with smart casuals. 

Fun After Party

For the fun after party, the bride dazzled in a Papa don't preach dress. We loved the colours of the dress! She kept her stylish in a messy ponytail. She added some pearls to her hairstyle. Dhiraj opted for a shirt & pants. The After Party was a prohibition-era speakeasy theme where we spotted a cage photo booth at the party. There was a lot of dancing and entertainment at the #DhiSealedWithAKrish wedding. 

Unique Engagement Party 

Her engagement was so unique! With her pink intricate lehenga, she went for a white henna design on her hands. She also opted for diamond jewellery. Dhiraj donned up in a bandhgala suit set. 

Pretty Pooja Ceremony

The Pooja ceremony plays an important role in our culture. Any beginning is incomplete without prayers. And for this auspicious event, Krishma looked gorgeous in an Anita Dongre Lehenga. The lightweight printed lehenga has very summery vibes. She kept her hair open. She also ditched the necklace and went for OTT earrings & maangtika. 

Vivid Mehendi Function

"I always loved the idea of custom love story bridal mehndi. I designed mine with my amazing mehndi artist using important elements from our journey featuring Sydney & Singapore city skylines, wedding logo, hashtag & puns, lord Ganesha & Om, Dhiraj proposing in South Korea, Liverpoolfc tag YNWA, our nicknames hidden," said Krishma. Choosing to get her mehendi done a day before her pre-wedding ceremonies begin, Krishma wore an alluring Shyamal Bhumika green floral lehenga for her mehendi ceremony. 

For the main mehendi ceremony, Krishma dolled up in a Sabyasachi yellow lehenga. She entered the venue dancing like a queen. We loved her braided hairstyle. She also wore a stunning diamond set with yellow diamonds to match the outfit which also added grace. Krishma said, "The floral mathapatti was so that my in-laws could do my Sagri. They added floral handpieces and floral anklets at the event itself when they were doing my sagri."  

On the other hand, Dhiraj entered in a peach-yellow kurta set. He also put the groom's mehendi design with Krishma's name. Isn't it cute?

Red & Gold Sangeet Ceremony

For the sangeet night, Krishma dazzled up in a Manish Malhotra Lehenga. The multi-hued blouse along with golden detailing stood out as a Sangeet Night Outfit. Dhiraj gave a tough competition with his unique Dhoti-Kurta style by Shantanu & Nikhil. The colours of his outfit matched Krishma's blouse which was so pretty for the ceremony. 

Centred around Indian royalists with cues of red and gold the dance floor for the sangeet ceremony was a contrasting off-bear black & white chevron design.

Emotional Haldi Party

It's really important to go for comfortable outfits, especially for a function like Haldi. That is why Krishma chose an Arpita Mehta co-ord set with a cape. The orange colour with white details makes it a perfect summer bridal outfit. Instead of matching it with the outfit, she opted for purple blue pastel floral jewellery. 

The Whimsical Wedding

D-day was filled with glamour. The whimsical decor theme was truly enthralling. The bride chose none other than Sabyasachi for her wedding day. She wore a classic Sabyasachi Floral Lehenga. Her green jewellery enhanced the look. The groom looked dapper in an ivory sherwani. The couple read their vows under a floating mandap with unique florals.

Glam Reception Night

The last day of the festivities was all glitzy. Our bride look looked charming in a Gaurav Gupta Red Lehenga. The shimmery ruffles made the outfit stand out. The groom complemented the bride with his formal tuxedo suit. The couple also organised games for the function. "For the reception party, we had the traditional games you play at the in-law's house done because at a destination wedding you don’t normally get time for that as it’s a fast change between the wedding and the reception," said Krishma.
