~ Bid bye to junk food, of course!

~ Protein and vitamin E are another essentials for a glowing skin, especially if you are a bride-to-be.

Habits to Adapt & Habits to Quit

Some teeny-weeny lifestyle changes can greatly impact your skin. Enlisted below are a few daily mantras that’ll bring a natural flushed glow on your face.

~ Ensure to remove the makeup before dozing off to sleep as it allows your skin to breathe overnight. Not doing so will clog the pores which may further cause breakouts and blackheads.

~ Do not step out without applying sunscreen even though it is cloudy or cold outside. *No excuses here*

~ If you’re not yet following any fitness regime, consider this as an opportunity! For a healthy bridal glow, it is extremely important to sweat it out. So whether you wanna join a gym or enroll for yoga or Zumba, the choice is yours.

~ A healthy glowing skin is unachievable if you are an excessive smoker.

~ Your sleeping pattern is yet another factor that determines the health of your skin. Lack of sleep evidently shows on your face and can make your skin dull. Hence, to attain that bridal glow, make sure your sleeping for a good 8 hours.

~ Don’t underestimate the hydration factor! Drink plenty of water; at least 8 glasses a day.

~ DON’T POP THE ZITS! No matter how tempted you are to prick those pimples, just refrain yourself from doing that.

~ Choose your face wash wisely! Understand your skin type and accordingly use a face wash!

  • The ones with dry skin must opt for nonsoap cream based cleansers.

  • Those who have oily skin should only go for gel based or foaming products.

  • Ladies with an acne-prone skin should ensure that their face wash contains salicylic acid.

  • The ones with a sensitive, go for milky cleansers.

  • Don’t indulge in over-cleansing. Wash your face twice or not more than thrice! Overcleansing snatches away natural oils from your skin and makes it more prone to wrinkles, fine lines and early aging.

~ Don’t skip the moisturizer. A moisturizing is important to keep your skin youthful and supple. It also prevents your skin from developing wrinkles. Pick a gel-based moisturizer if you have an oily skin.

~ If you have been ignoring your eyes for a while now but it is time to give them their due attention.

  • Apply an under-eye cream every night with a very slight pressure.

  • Don’t rub your eyes; it causes dullness and darkening of the skin area surrounding the eyes.

  • Make sure you are working on to get rid of the dark circles if you have any.

~ Last but not least, be happy and enjoy every moment! Don't stress yourself too much, for it is not healthy for your skin and remember, everything will eventually fall in place.
