There’s something about beach weddings that always make our hearts flutter in awe. The serene view, untouched sands, refreshing greens, and the endless waters make the nuptials even more gorgeous. And this Catholic wedding of our very own Indian footballer, Robin Singh with his beau Lianne Texeira in Goa was just that!

Held in Riva Beach Resort, Mandrem, Goa, Robin & Lianne’s boho-themed wedding was all about having gobs of fun and celebrating a loving union and we lost our hearts at the very first sight! The bride looked absolutely stunning in her voluminous lacey ball gown but it was her long & floor-sweeping veil that blew our minds. There were just too many loot-worthy elements like the bride's crystalized tiara & hand painted sneakers, the groom's customized cuff links, the Game of Thrones themed wedding cake and a lot more incorporated in this wedding. However, what added more charm to their dreamy solemnization were their bespoke wedding intangibles and the whimsical decorations.

While the ace team of Event Affair Décor (headed by Robin’s sister, Sunaina) trimmed every nook and corner of their wedding venue with sheer perfection and turned the wedding into a fairytale moment, The Picture Patch Photography crew captured all the gorgeousness at the wedding. Robin Singh & Lianne Texeira's Bewitching Wedding Ceremonies

Zesty Haldi & Roce Ceremony

The couple kicked off their wedding celebrations with a fun and intimate Haldi that got everyone into the festive mood. The decorations for the ceremony were kept to minimal with a wall covered in yellow drapes and a huge frame-like stand decorated with fancy vases. The bride looked mesmerizing in her easy-breezy asymmetrical hem dress paired with a statement maang tikka & a pair of baajubandh. Whereas, the groom complemented her just well in his basic white kurta and a pair of shorts.

The Haldi ceremony was followed by a typical Goan-style Roce ceremony where the bride and groom were anointed with coconut juice & oil by the elder ones of the two families.

The Classic White Wedding

Robin and Lianne's gorgeous nuptials were a sight to behold!! We loved how their white wedding proceedings were simple yet so beautiful. While Robin made a dapper groom in his blue Raymond tuxedo, Lianne, on the other hand, looked breathtaking as a bride in her white church cathedral gown.

Sharing the details about her wedding day attire and accessories, the bride says, 

My mother customized my Church Cathedral gown with appliqués and crystals with a detailed Angel cut veil. My lace bolero and flower bouquet were also customized by my mother. The Cinderella crystal shoes were a highlight. My queen Tiara was a vintage gold and crystals piece from an antique store. For the jewellery, I wore my mother’s wedding set that matched my crown beautifully.

Glitzy Reception Bash

The wedding was followed by a boho-themed reception the same evening which witnessed everyone frolicking around. The decorations for the gala night were exquisitely done with quirky signanges, cutesy dreamcatcher hangings, multi-hued blooms, fur seats and origami cranes. However, the highlight of their reception bash was their 5 tiered 'Game of Thrones' themed cake that had dragon, eggs, garden flowers and the Targaryen fire crown frosting on it.

For the reception, Lianne slipped into a customized ivory glass beaded mermaid gown from Kresha Bajaj. She perfectly paired it with a minimalistic tiara with sea shells and a rose gold choker set that was gifted to her by her mother-in-law.

Their Oh-so-sweet Love Tale

As the bride recites, "He, a popular Indian footballer, Me, a writer—both with similar dreams and tastes. We met at a night out, a lot of dancing and conversation lead to our first official date few days later. From then on we kept in touch! Constant travels for his football matches back and forth to surprise breakfasts back home in Mumbai. Eventually, it all lead to a secluded hill station proposal at midnight!"
