We believe that some stories are actually written by destiny. Giulia & Shreyans met each other on a dating app. Giulia realised that Shreyans profile picture on the app at that time was a picture he took in Venice, which is right next to her hometown Padua. "When I read Shrey’s profile, I immediately felt drawn to it, and as soon as he sent me the first message, I immediately texted him back. - Things moved quickly and we decided that we would meet up at four on our first date at a beautiful park in Berlin called ‘Tiergarten’. When we met, we immediately connected and spent the next 6 hours chatting non-stop about all topics under the sun," said Giulia.

The duo started having conversations and went on their first date. The kismat connection was instant and they chatted for hours. Some might say it was love at first sight, but the couple believes that it was love at first conversation.

Introducing Shreyans Jain & Giulia Raffaello

Italian Youtuber based in Berlin, Germany Giulia Raffaello is a social media influencer. After dating for almost 5 years, Shreyans and Giulia finally decided to get married. The twosome moved in together, met each other’s families and travelled all around the world. Interestingly, both of them come from different cultures and religions and their families were very supportive of the beautiful relationship they shared.

Soon, they had a minimal yet simple proposal in an intimate environment, which happened during the lockdown. Shreyans cooked her favourite dish, parmigiana di melanzane and created a photo book that had their entire story in chronological order, from the first picture together, to their first trip abroad together, the first time we met each other’s families, and so on. Wasn’t it cute?

Coming now to the d-day. Giulia said, "We wanted to have our wedding ceremony in Italy as soon as possible, but the pandemic kept coming our way. We were supposed to have our wedding ceremony in Italy in September 2021 but had to postpone it since international travel restrictions were still in place. For us, it was essential and non-negotiable to have both of our families present at the wedding, and so we had to wait for the right moment."

The pandemic surely came their way, but they managed to pass all the hurdles. After postponing for months, the couple finally got married in the summer of 2022 as Italy opened its borders the Indian tourists. The most exciting part was that their parents met each other for the first time at the wedding venue in Le Risare, Italy. Psst... It was a pure moment of joy. Another very special moment was that both their grandparents were present at the wedding.

For the Christian wedding, our bride of the day and social media influencer, Giulia Raffaello wore a breathtaking white lace gown paired with a puffy cape to her bridal look. Her pearl head accessory and soft makeup look for the white wedding was something worth saving. On the other hand, groom-to-be, Shreyans looked dapper in a blue tuxedo suit by Lanieri which was accessorised with a cute white bow tie.
