This Designer Bride's Gorgeous Wedding at Alila Fort Bishangarh Has Us In An Awe!

There's nothing more beautiful and alluring than a scenic, intimate wedding at a rustic fort hotel. Add a romantic couple, some exuberant and chic decor聽and a talented designer bride to the mix and you have yourself a celebration of true love with sights to marvel!

That's exactly what Sanjana and Yash's Jaipur wedding was all about. From awe-inspiring self-designed outfits by the bride to heartwarming moments of fun and revelry, every element of their wedding was magical.聽

Introducing聽Sanjana & Yash

"Yash and I have always known of each other but we were just mere acquaintances and had a lot of common friends," Sanjana Thapa told us as she recounted her love story with Yash,聽"He was working in New York and I was here so we would bump into each other occasionally. Until one day, we bumped into one another once again. However, this time, something was different."

After returning to India for good, Yash Amit Nanavati gladly slid into Sanjana's DMs after bumping into her, "It started with him asking me about a certain food picture I had posted. After that, we never stopped talking to each other."

"I remember on the first date we literally sat and spoke for 5 hours till the last person walked out the door as if聽we were two old friends who'd known each other forever. So, I'd say it was just so easy, simple and real with him from the beginning. He's my best friend and just gets me in every possible way."

The couple's gorgeous wedding was held at the stunning and regal聽Alila Fort Bishangarh with all the functions drenched in local traditions with the right touch of modernity.聽

Intimate Mehendi Ceremony

The wedding celebrations of #yashneedsathapad kicked off with an intimate mehendi. Sanjana had her hands decorated in beautiful聽and intricate henna designs which combined various types of jaali designs to create one large pattern that truly stuck out.聽

Musical Sangeet Night

The Sangeet night was a musical affair lit with fairylights and off-white accents. Sanjana chose to style herself in glass beads embellished blouse in Fuschia pink with a聽handwoven brocade skirt embroidered with scalloped edges paired with an olive green silk organza dupatta with butti work. Whereas, Yash kept it simple in a black bandhgala kurta-pyjama set from聽Kunal Rawal.

Sunny Wedding Day

The sunny wedding affair was one of the most stunning sights to witness, with the entire venue covered in pastel flowers, white chairs and lots of green with other rustic elements. Dressed in a self-designed聽raw silk pastel green lehenga with zardosi embroidery, adorned with lotus and peacock motifs which were paired with an embroidered silk organza pale pink dupatta. On the other hand, Yash chose a dapper off-white embroidered sherwani with a pale pink dupatta with small mirror work by designer Kunal Rawal.聽

Pool Side Reception Party

The perfect end to the wedding was the glamourous, pool side reception ceremony for which Sanjana wore an聽embellished pre-draped saree in powder blue that was hand聽embroidered with glass beads, swarovski pearls and antique finish stones while Yash wore a printed shirt with a smart black blazer and a set of grey pants.聽
