A marriage with a deep friendship as its foundation is beautiful. Damini and Prabhdeep are truly in that sense. Having known each other for almost 12 years, it was fated now that they marry each other and they did it in the most luxurious way possible and we are mesmerized!

Introducing Damini & Prabhdeep

Damini Goswamy and Prabhdeep Singh Ghai came across each other at a gym and became friends. However, Prabhdeep remembers liking Damini since their first meeting. Their friendship continued for over a decade and it was only a couple of years back that Damini realized she had feelings for Prabhdeep which she confessed to him and of course, he reciprocated. They got into a relationship and two years later, tied the knot finally!

Haldi & Mehendi

The Haldi and Mehendi ceremony was full of bright and delicious decor. From the tall decor candy pieces to the peppy seating arrangements, the decor exuded youthful and playful energy. For this vivid celebration, Damini wore a vibrant yellow and pink lehenga while Prabhdeep went for a beige kurta pyjama with a green waistcoat. 

Cocktail

The cocktail night was lavish and romantic with all purple and golden decor. For this night full of joy, Damini wore a red embellished body hugging gown while Prabhdeep complimented her in his classy suit.

Sangeet & Varmala

The Sangeet & Varmala was a beautifully lit up and colourful ceremony. With floral and vine decor all around, the charm of the venue was doubled. For this blessed night, Damini wore a pretty red and golden lehenga while Prabhdeep went for a glamorous black and golden kurta, pyjama and dupatta. 

Anand Karaj

Damini and Prabhdeep's Anand Karaj was simply spectacular. The floral decoration made the event even more vibrant and fragrant. Damini looked like a dream in her pretty pink lehenga paired with green, white and golden jewellery. Prabhdeep looked handsome in his white sophisticated sherwani. 

Reception

The reception party of Damini and Prabhdeep was all about red floral decor and golden lights which reflected love and prosperity. We are in awe of Damini's reception party look. She wore a floral red Sabyasachi saree paired with a green choker and a red rose bun. Prabhdeep, on the other hand, sported a black bandhgala and looked dashing in it.

Wedding Venue

Raffles Udaipur: I don’t think I could have found a better venue than Raffles in India. I am so glad that one of the first few weddings to take place at this property was ours as the property opened up like a year or 2 back only. Being in Raffles I felt like I am not in India. I felt like I am abroad somewhere. The property being surrounded by this clean lake looked so beautiful and added a Rajasthani touch. The French Colonial look of the property was amazing. The property was so complete in itself that we didn’t have to book any other venue. Our wedding planners utilised the space so effectively. It was all palatial and gorgeous. The service was impeccable. The butlers that the property provided were top-notch. I didn’t even have to lift a finger for anything. The food was amazing. The chef was amazing! The bartender was out of the world. The alcohol was so good quality. They had premium stuff. They also made sure it’s a zero wastage bar so that’s great! Overall it was a great property and we had a great time here.

Wedding Decorator

DreamzKrraft: No one can have the vision and execution that DreamzKrraft has! They are no.1 for a reason. Their work is so imaginative and creative. They were like our family! Each team member treated me like family and they made me feel heard, they understood me. They were able to bring all my visions to life. Paras and I being filmmakers ourselves are creative people, but DreamzKrraft surpassed our expectations and vision. What the team pulled off left everyone stunned. The decor at every function was impeccable. All the guests were awe-struck. Everyone mentioned that they have never attended a wedding like this ever before. DreamzKrraft put its heart into executing our wedding. The kind of work they did no one else would have been able to do that! The whole wedding planning process was so seamless with them. They are the best in the country! I felt like a queen the 3 of my wedding. My Shadow, Ritika, was so very helpful. She did everything for me and I didn’t have to lift even a finger. All the services when it comes to logistics, airport pick up and drop and hospitality as well, all of which were top-notch. I have never seen such seamless execution ever anywhere.

Bridal Makeup Artist/Hairstylist 

Namrata Soni: She is completely at the top of her game. Her skills are perfect! Being such a big celebrity makeup artist she understood what I wanted and executed what I wanted. She took my likings and inputs under consideration and worked accordingly. The makeup was seamless. She and her team, her hair team as well - they were just so professional. Their work was incredible. I was so happy with everything that they did. Being the bride I was the first one to get dressed at every event. They were very quick, efficient and extremely talented. They could pull off any look that you ever imagined.

Bridal Outfits

Tarun Tahiliani: The first outfit I chose was for my Anand Karaj. From the moment we entered the store and saw that lehenga, we knew this is it. I have not, to date, seen a prettier lehenga. It had a mix of colours with such intricate work that it won my heart. The lehenga was also called ‘The Udaipur Lehenga’ so it was only fair to go ahead with this beautiful lehenga for my Udaipur wedding at Raffles! The person who was coordinating with me Miss Rachna was at the top of her game. Being very prompt and quick with taking my measurements and helping me figure it all out. She was constantly asking me questions and taking updates for me.

Liz Paul: My Mehndi outfit was from Liz Paul. I couldn’t find the kind of outfit I found at Liz Paul. Liz Paul is meant for mehendi outfits. The kind to colours, designs and patterns that they offer are amazing. The vibrancy of the outfits is so beautiful. Seeing a Liz Paul outfit and wearing it are two different experiences. The cut and fit were so perfect! It stood out so much and everyone complimented me. Overall a great experience with Liz Paul. They gave everything on time and provided great service.

Anita Dongre: My Dhol night (sangeet) outfit was designed by Anita Dongre. Again, the service here too was impeccable. Mr Sumit and Ms Sana were the two palms that were helping me throughout. They did more than what was required to make it a better experience for me. Like, they wrote my wedding date on the dupatta. The beauty of Anita Dongre is that the lehenga was so light and easy to carry. Generally, bridal lehengas are so heavy but this was not the case with Anita Dongre. This lehenga had the look of a heavy lehenga but it was so very lightweight. I was also late at choosing my outfit but Anita Dongre’s team managed to hand me my outfit in 15-20 days! That’s how good their manufacturing is, making a brand new outfit in 20 days!

Falguni Shane: My cocktail night outfit was designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. And this outfit I saw on a makeup artist’s page and the moment I laid eyes on it I knew this is the outfit I want. So before even entering the store, I knew what I wanted. And in just one fitting they made it fit to perfection. The way they manufacture these outfits is commendable. They are gorgeous and fit to perfection. You can’t compare it with anything else! The colour, the fishtail cut and the work on it just show how professional their work is and it’s worth every penny!

Manish Malhotra: My Welcome Outfit was designed by Manish Malhotra. The plain sharara that I wore was so gorgeous and light to wear. It was the perfect bridal suit. It was o comfortable and it stood out. You look at it and you know it’s Manish Malhotra.

Sabyasachi: My reception outfit was by Sabyasachi and now I know why all celebrities opt for him. Their outfits are stunning. I wore a saree. It was very similar to the saree Katrina Kaif wore at her wedding. When you enter the store you feel like you have entered a different world altogether. Heh, the designs are beautiful. If you are looking for grace and class, Sabyasachi is the place to go. Ms. Swati was my representative and their entire staff is just so intelligent and well-read. She was good at recommending things based on me, my body type and my taste.

Groom Outfits

Falguni Shane: The Anand Karaj outfit was beautiful. The colour and the work were absolutely stunning. It complimented my outfit as well. I fell in love with the sherwani the moment I saw it in the store. I knew this is the sherwani I am going to wear at my wedding. The fit and making of the outfit were very professional. The whole experience was wonderful!

Bridal Mehendi Artist

Veena Bollywood Mehendi: She is the best in the country. The kind of professionalism she shows is impeccable. The kind of intricacies she adds is amazing. I was smitten by her. The designs she created were so amazing. Being a celebrity mehendi artist, she treated me like a celebrity as well. She and her entire team are just so talented and creative. I am glad I opted for her as my Mehndi artist.

Bridal Jewellery

A Jewels By Anmol: The person in charge over there is Anmol. Anmol Aunty is like family. The kind of wedding jewellery she curated for me, for every look for every function was out of this world. She thought of every single detail for me while curating my looks. She created everything from scratch keeping in mind what I was looking for. She is also the official vendor for Sabyasachi and the kind of pieces and jewellery she can source I haven’t seen in too many other places. I feel very lucky that I got to wear the best of the best stunning jewellery. Anmol Aunty sat with me for over a month and heard me out and carefully thought and curated my jewellery as if she is doing it for her daughter!

Floral Art & Design Studio: One of the best vendors in the country. She understood my memo. I didn’t want anything too bright and out there. She understood that I wanted something classy and graceful. She curated something that would go best with my outfit and it has a general feeling of elegance. She pulled off this floral jewellery with natural flowers and the kind of work she does is amazing. Her work is very clean and I have no complaints at all! Everything was very delicately done. The flowers were fresh and were brought in at the time of the functions.

Bridal Kaleere

Mrinalini Chandra Artisan Atelier: My chooda and kalire were done by them. The kind of item they provided went so nicely with my skin tone and my liking. I am not someone who would wear her wedding chooda for more than a day but the chooda they designed was so nice and pretty that I wore it for a month! The same goes for the kalire, they were so well made and fit my taste. It had all the key elements of our love story which added such nice personal touch. It was all very beautifully crafted!

Wedding Invitation

Itchha Talreja Designs: The E-invites were designed to perfection! Our thought process was process and the actual designing process couldn’t have been made possible by any other person. The E invite was the first look into what the wedding is going to be like. And every guest after receiving the invite was taken aback. The kind of work Itchha and her team pulled off is insane! The best part was the wardrobe planner that Itchha designed. I am just blown away by her work!

Izzhaar Coredesign: My wedding boxes were made by Izzhaar. The kind of designs and options that they provide is beautiful. Their in-house snacks and chocolates as well are so good that you don’t have to go anywhere else looking for them. We wanted non-perishable items in our boxes so that the guests didn’t have to throw the boxes away. The items were non-perishable so good quality and tasty in the box curated that the guests ended up asking for more! The box design itself was so amazing and based on our liking! Overall I was very happy with the kind of work Izzhaar executed.

Wedding Entertainment

Best Kept Secret: My absolute favourite recommendation by DreamzKrraft was Best Kept Secret. They are just too good and next-level professionals. Behram has such an angelic voice. He can do anything. He is such a dynamic singer. He can sing Western, old Bollywood, contemporary, you name it and he can pull it off. So if you want a crazy dynamic band at your wedding, Best Kept Secret is the one you should go with!

RDB Singer: He was the artist for our Cocktail night. He brought energy to the table. He set the whole Punjabi mood for the wedding. I have heard that he generally doesn’t allow guests on the stage but the fact that with us he let all the guests sign and dance with him on the stage, next to him, we just feel honoured! It changed the vibe of the entire party and let me just say that everyone got very happy and drunk that night!

Other Vendors

Siddharth Kanan: Our wedding EmCee was Siddharth Kanan. I haven’t seen anybody who is such a funny person. He is so spontaneous with his jokes and he knows how to keep the guests engaged. He is the perfect combination of quirky and fun. He gets the entire room rolling on the floor laughing! He is such a warm and affectionate guy in general, someday you just automatically feel close to him. Paras and I are just glad that he came to our wedding and participated. He felt like a family. He was seamless!

BeatCrush: He is also our friend. He performs at all the good nightclubs in Delhi. The kind of music selection he has and the kind of sets he plays get everyone jumping and dancing on the floors. He is one of my favourites!

Avinash Bamania: He was our stylist and he is a part of Vicky Bhaiya's (Vicky Adani’s) team. He is one of the best people to work with because he is so sweet and professional with his work. He is very invested and delivers top-notch work.
