Welcome to our new identity. Welcome to WeddingBazaar!

Think of a Punjabi bride and you are likely to picture an angelic beauty dressed in an ornate ensemble and decked up in heavy baubles with red chooda and traditional golden kaleeras! But wait, bridal look ain't any uniform that's only supposed to look a particular way. Brides can experiment. And our hearts flutter with joy whenever we come across real brides who embrace change and lay some steal-worthy inspiration for the ones in the queue of tying the knot. And that's what brings us to introduce you to Saba Kapoor. The bride broke all the rules, set her own, and left us awestruck with her contemporary wedding look.

A design professional, Saba of course let her design finesse take over and created her aesthetic for the wedding look. And what a visual treat it turned out to be! A mint green chooda, white henna, and a neo-traditional lehenga on with green and silver accents were the cynosures of this one-of-a-kind bridal glory. And what if we tell you she almost co-designed the lehenga with couture extraordinaire Tarun Tahiliani's team. Sounds interesting? Well, wait until you see her glorious bridal portraits shared by make-up artist Jasmeet Kapany, who dolled her up for the special day. If you aim to infuse a few contemporary elements to your bridal look, you are definitely in for a hearty dose of inspiration. Read on.

Bride Saba Kapoor's Contemporary Wedding Look

Ditching the quintessential reds and pinks, Saba took wedding vows in a pastel-hued lehenga with hints of greens and silver. While the colours were muted, the heavy embroideries and adornments lent a traditional vibe. The ethereal creation by Tarun Tahiliani came replete with threadwork and embroideries all over the expanse. Adding a dash of drama was the green-hued veil with a long train. A sparkling diamond necklace with a matching mathapatti completed the look. Each bit of it, so ogle-worthy! Take a glance:

A pair of silver kaleeras and white henna lent the best finishing touches to the contemporary look. Hairstylist Azad Khan kept Saba's tresses open in soft waves, resonating well with the stylish wedding look. MUA Jasmeet Kapany accentuated the bride's beauty with natural-looking makeup completed with soft pink lips.

Not just the wedding, the diva bride slayed at all other functions as well. You'll instantly fall hard for all her look. Check them out here:
