Lehengas are love! But we get super excited when brides take a different route and rock non-lehenga silhouettes for their wedding. We recently came across real bride Keerat Kaur’s wedding snippets and she had us smitten right at the first glance. After all, it is not every day that we stumble upon an uber-regal bridal look sans a lehenga that oozes traditional vibe from every bit! If you thought you can only embrace a traditional bridal look in a heavy lehenga, you definitely gotta think again and take cues from Keerat Kaur who wore a breathtaking sharara set from the label Rimple & Harpreet Narula. That’s not all, guys! She even reused her mother’s wedding dupatta and let it be the cynosure of her wedding look. Such an emotional and priceless decision! *BRB, wiping’em tears*

There are brides, and then there are fashion-savvy brides who leave us bewitched with their sartorial choices. Keerat obviously made it to the latter! Without making you wait any further, let us show you the bride in the latest sharara suit.

Introducing Keerat Kaur & Dilpreet Singh

The Head-turning Anand Karaj Look

Keerat Kaur and Dilpreet Singh took vows in an intimate Anand Karaj ceremony at her residence. It was a moment to behold as Keerat walked down her home’s stairs with her entourage towards the matrimonial bliss.

For Keerat, it was clear that she wanted to don a sharara at her wedding and not a lehenga. She wanted to rock a bridal look soaked in traditions but a different manner. She picked a heavy sharara set from the coveted collection of designer duo Rimple & Harpreet Narula, in an earthy hue. And what a dreamy creation it was! The outfit came with the prettiest gold accents and intricate embroideries. And adding a pop of quintessential bridal red was her mother’s dupatta. She let the vintage red dupatta take the centre stage, and we are rooting for it! The heirloom piece came with an unmissable old-world charm and featured dabka and gota work along with eye-popping details in green and blue hues. It uplifted the whole look, we must add. 🤩

Here’s a look at Keerat’s getting-ready moments and a closer look at her jewellery. She wore a statement maangtikka, a layered necklace, a nath, and a pair of heavy earrings – all strewn exquisitely with a blend of dainty pearls and green stones. The traditional golden kaleeras added the quintessential Punjabi Bride charm to her look.

On the other hand, dapper Dilpreet complemented the bride in an ivory silk sherwani. Keeping the jewellery game strong, he wore a necklace bejeweled with a mix of pearls, Kundan and emerald stones. And here’s a cute little coordinating details you shouldn’t miss. His orange turban matched with the roses in their jaimala garlands.

Next up here are some more beautiful photos from the wedding for you to ogle at! Each frame is beautifully captured by the ace team of ShaadiSaga vendor Through The Barrel, which are gorgeous from every angle.

What Did Keerat Wear For Other Functions?

Mehendi Ceremony Under The Sun

We are sure you are unfailingly impressed with Keerat's wedding outfit. But her wedding wardrobe had some more swoon-worthy outfits. For the mehndi ceremony, she sunshine in an embellished bright yellow suit set. It hailed from the label A&R by Rhea Kapoor. It was an outdoor ceremony and the orange trees served as the perfect mehndi backdrop.

The Lit Cocktail Night

Keerat did not wear a lehenga at her wedding, but she did don it at her Sangeet night! She left us awestruck as she slipped into a heavy golden lehenga with colourful accents all over. Boasting rich embroideries and an all-golden blouse, the lehenga is exactly what bridal dreams are made of! And oh, did we tell you it is from a label called Amreen Clothing and is inspired by Persian Carpet. Dilpreet, on the other hand, wore an all-black outfit with a blue turban. It was also an outdoor affair, with fairylights as the key decor element.

The Royal Reception

Keerat and Dilpreet culminated their wedding celebrations with a royal reception at The Oberoi, New Delhi. For the royal reception party, Keerat stunned in a gold-embellished lehenga set from the label Varun Nidhika. The classy duo of diamonds and emeralds kept the jewellery game on point. She draped the dupatta like a cape and tied her hair in a bun. Dilpreet, on the other hand, kept it classy in a blazer set. Have a look at the pictures.

Final Words

We are not getting over Keerat's regal wedding look anytime soon. The latest sharara wore by bride Keerat is definitely gonna inspire a lot of brides-to-be.
