The Cannes Film Festival 2021 took place after a long year of facing the pandemic. This was one of the first events that took place physically and not virtually. While we got to see a plethora of Hollywood celebrities flaunt their haute couture looks, our eyes were stuck on influencers of Indian origin who made it all the way to Cannes. 2. Diipa Khosla Rocked This Falguni & Shane Lehenga

While influencer Minawala went with an haute couture gown for her debut look for this year’s 74th Cannes Film Festival, global influencer Diipa Khosla went with a unique lehenga by designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock. Blogger Diipa Büller-Khosla wore a traditional printed lehenga that was inspired by historical paintings. She further styled with a chic off-shoulder black blouse and a tulle dupatta with intricately modified details, which was beautifully completed with a cross-halter necklace, a marquise-cut diamond ring and a maangtikka by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Oh! And, the soft makeup done so perfectly by Tina Derkse Makeup Artist took our heart away.

3. Minawala’s Pearl White Cape Saree Is To Die For

Masoom Minawala went with the unusual and opted for a drop-dead gorgeous pearl white saree by designer Manish Malhotra for one of her red carpet walks. Now, what makes this saree so special is the fact that it is completely covered in sequins and has a cape on top with sleeves that fall all the way to the bottom. When Minawala posted photos of this look on her gram, we couldn’t help but fall head over heels in love with it, which is why we think you ladies should consider this outfit for your upcoming wedding functions. 4. Farhana Bodi’s Grand Ruffle Gown

Global influencer Farhana Bodi also made her way to the Cannes Film Festival this year and on the first day itself, we saw her make a grand entrance in the most stunning and exquisite yellow ruffles gown by Atelier Zuhra. Yes, it seems like ruffles are huge for 2021 when it comes to gowns. With a high bun by Ahmad hairstyle and GORG heels by Sebastian Milano, Farhana Bodi looked straight out of a dream.

Another look that Khosla went for at Cannes was this subtle yet elegant baby blue frill layered maxi dress by Milla an international designer. This GORG off-shoulder gown was complemented with diamond earrings by Messika Jewelry paired with a bold eye makeup look by Tina Derkse to make the influencer’s eyes pop. We loved the fact that Khosla didn’t go over the top with her hair and stuck to a sleek hairdo which was done to T  by hairstylists - Dessange Paris and Ben Mignot.

6. This Pastel Couture Dress Is Made For Your Youngsters

Another wonderful outfit that influencer Masoom Minawala managed to don while she was in Cannes was a pastel couture dress by La Metamorphose. The upper half of the dress had a basic net that went to the back and made it halter while the lower half of the outfit had fluffy small ruffles that poofed up, making the silhouette a-line. Who would have thought that we will be seeing Indian suits being donned on the streets of France by an influencer someday? However, as fate would have it, Minawala made it happen this year at Cannes and made sure she did it in style. While this suit by Maryam Hussain set wasn’t one of her red carpet or meeting looks, the Indian influencer went with this silhouette to trot on the streets of France. 8. Diipa Khosla’s Eggshell One-Shoulder Gown = GOALS! 

Influencers were serving us immaculate looks, one after the other but one of them which caught our attention was this one-shoulder gown that influencer Diipa Khosla donned on one of the days. This gown by Tonyward Couture was eggshell white in colour with embellishments, thread work and sequins work on the gown. The outfit is the right amount of glam, elegant and chic and we think that it is made for your upcoming cocktail or reception function.
