2020 was a year when we came across a lot of hardships and tough moments. From having to postpone weddings to bearing hard blows on our wallets, we saw too many lows. But with lows, we also got to see a lot of highs such as D.I.Y wedding decor, the wave of intimate weddings, and most importantly we saw couples go an extra mile for each other. But this one is not about these lovely couples who have epic love stories but in fact, this is dedicated to the various decor trends that came into existence in 2020. From pastel decor to fruits, we saw everyone experiment their hearts out and boy, we truly are impressed!

Animal Decor That We Adored!

Animals are a great addition to the wedding decor which we discovered after we spotted a few of these majestic creatures as decor in 2020. From the colours to the animals itself, there is so much that was incorporated in the decor in the past one year and we are absolutely in love with this. These animals were used as hangings, table centres, backdrops and what not. We truly hope this decor is here to stay in the coming year!   

D.I.Y Decor For Intimate Weddings 

Now, this was one of the decors that took us the most by surprise but somehow turned out to be exceptionally good. The ones who had their wedding at their homes managed to wow us with their D.I.Y decor. These couples and their families took out their thinking caps and came up with stupendous decor options to glam up the wedding day. We think it was an absolutely beautiful solution to the problem which only made the wedding day for these couples extremely personal and special! 

Lockdown Quotes 

With lockdown came the lockdown quotes. From using sanitisers wisely to maintaining social distancing, we witnessed so many different quotes which were sassy, unique and hilarious. It was a super cool way to ask the guests to maintain safety without offending them. Definitely one of the top trends, we truly wish to see more of such fun quotes to brighten up every single wedding exactly like these signs did! 

Pastel Decor

A classic decor trend in 2020 and definitely going to be a classic in 2021, pastel decor is loved by one and all because of the number of options there are available in this trend. From lilac to lime green, the options are seriously endless and that is exactly why this trend too dominated the wedding sphere in this year. After all, who can mess with the classics?

Fruit Decor

Another trend that came in the spotlight in 2020 is the fruit decor trend. It’s something which wouldn’t just make your wedding venue or area look pretty but after you’re done with the celebrations, you get to eat it too. But jokes apart, this trend was perfect for this year to save some bucks on decor without having to compromise on the vibrant and bright look that one gets from the decor!

Cane & Wicker Basket Decor

Ah, the final one in our list is another major favourite. There are so many couples who opted for this decor trend because of its quaint and charming look. We, in particular, fell in love with the different variations people came up with to use these baskets as decor. This was definitely a hit in 2020!
