Having one of the most celebrated bridal fashion designers as your mother-in-law is sure to get you oodles of help with your wedding trousseau. That's exactly what happened with Benaisha Kharas who recently got married to Yash Dongre, son of Anita Dongre in a picturesque Mussoorie wedding. While it is a dream for us to have at least one Anita Dongre lehenga in our wedding trousseau, Benaisha stunned in Anita Dongre outfits at all her wedding functions. And we couldn't be more envious!

Benaisha wore exclusively designed ensembles in different colours for her wedding revelries that were not only visually appealing but also held some kinda significance. For instance, her reception outfit was an ode to the union of Hindu and Parsi faiths that featured the famous Parsi Gara embroideries. Her wedding lehenga was also personalised with her favourite quote embroidered on it.

Another thing that remained constant for all her outfits was that they were super comfortable and light-weight. Keeping the bridal outfits fuss-free allowed her the freedom to enjoy the revelries to the core. Despite that, Benaisha looked effortlessly beautiful in the dreamy Anita Dongre outfits that you wouldn't be able to stop adoring her!

So, here are all the pretty outfits Anita Dongre's Bahu, Benaisha Kharas wore to her wedding revelries that will make you fall harder for Anita Dongre's couture.

A floral skirt-blouse set for Brunch

Complementing the environs of the Brunch setup in Mussoorie, Benaisha clad herself in an elegant floral skirt-blouse set from Anita Dongre's sustainable fashion label Grassroot. The women of SEWA (Self-employed Women’s Association) got together to create the meticulously embroidered outfit.

An ink blue gown for Cocktail

Benaisha bedazzled in an ink blue gown at the Mumbai cocktail. The gown with a plunging V-neckline featured traditional pichhwai craftwork which was deliberately designed in contrast to the Western silhouette.

A forest green lehenga for Sangeet

The colour Green is raging big time in brides' wedding trousseaus. Benaisha too picked a forest green lehenga embellished with hand-painted picchwai work, that was not only gorgeous but also comfortable enough to dance the night away. A set of statement choker and earrings completed her look for the Sangeet night.

A personalised fuchsia lehenga for wedding

The bride always wanted to get married wearing a pink outfit! So, picking the colour for her wedding lehenga from Anita Dongre's sumptuous colour palette was not really a task for Benaisha. She wore a custom-designed lehenga replete with Dongre's signature gota patti work. Benaisha even got her favourite quote embroidered on her bridal dupatta that read, "When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew."  We also love how she styled the look with contrasting jewellery with emerald highlights and donned a hairstyle with fresh baby breaths.

A light pink lehenga for Reception

Benaisha's reception outfit was an ode to the coming together of Hindu and Parsi cultures. The pastel pink lehenga had Parsi gara (an embroidery form) motif of birds that harmonised with the thread work of the groom's reception sherwani. The fashion-forward bride elegantly teamed the look with minimal jewels.
