And what followed was their beautiful nuptials set in the lap of lush green valleys of Mussoorie, which has all our hearts. Right from the mehendi that was high on energy and glamour, the sangeet that had got everyone grooving, the wedding that was full of mystical vibes and the reception that witnessed a sparkling entry of the couple, everything about this wedding is worth a double tap (<3).

One look through these photographs and you will fall in love. Not just with the wedding, but also with this bubbly bride who looked as radiant as a sunflower in all her wedding ceremonies.

Effervescent Mehendi with a chilled out Bride

An outdoor Mehendi in the queen of hills- Mussoorie was the perfect way to ring in the wedding celebrations. What added to the beautification was the glaring marigold decorations, vibrant table settings, uber cool hashtag installation, kite photo backdrop and some more pretty little details.

To match with the festive vibes, the bride wore a classic mirror-work blouse with an intricately sequinned marigold lehenga. For accessories, she picked up an oversized maang tika from Purab Paschim and  pretty pair of small earrings.

Joyous Engagement with Sizzling Performances

The Engagement was the most vivacious of all the ceremonies. It saw the bride and groom posing and dancing their hearts out with their family members. For this fun-filled function, the bride wore a dazzling red gown with just the right flare and bling, while the groom opted for a classy black bandhgala.

Wedding with Sunset pheras in the Dreamiest Vedi

Ajay and Anvisha's wedding vows under the clear sky were a sight to behold. But more than that, what got us hooked was their beautifully decorated vedi for the pheras(which was also the bride's fav element from the wedding) that lent their wedding all the rustic vibes. Hands down to the bride's ideation and rudhir sharma & crew's execution on that.

Spilling the beans about the decor of her wedding, the bride says:

"I could not have the whole hotel compliment my rustic fairytale theme. So we picked elements that would make my dream come true - vedi, table setting and backdrop for wedding day family portraits. Nothing else around the venue was touched."

For her bridal entry, Anvisha ditched the usual phoolon ki chaadar and picked up her mother’s wedding chunni instead.

Since the couple had pre-decided on a sunset wedding with lots of greens and floral arrangements, they kept their outfit shades to pastels. The bride wore a light-peach fully embroidered lehenga, while the groom complemented her by wearing an ivory bandhgala with a light-peach turban and shawl.

Simplistic Reception with a Sparkling Entry for the couple

Right after the wedding, everyone dived into the party mode and ended the celebrations on a hearty note. We loved how Anvisha and Ajay's family members initiated a glam entry for the newlywed couple by holding sparklers in their hands and forming a cave for the two to walk through *So filmy*.

Anvisha’s wedding planning tips for fellow brides-to-be

Here are a few tips for all brides becoming bridezillas on what should your wedding decor be like! I'm no pro here but have done a little bit in making my day look a tad bit magical:

1. Decide on a theme ladies! Ask yourself who you are and what would you want for your big day. Happy, fun, royal, magical, you'll get so many words. This will help you decide on a theme and help you and everyone involved in making the dream possible, in the right direction.

2. Find the right people, please share your vision with them and talk. All of us are humans, and so are the people who come on board to bring your creative vision to life. Talk and discuss. You have a vision, the creatives have the expertise. When both of these are matched in the right way, magic happens and you as a bride will end up being more satisfied.

3. Please start delegating work as and when the day comes near. You want to remember your big day with the smiles, laughs, hugs, dances and crazy talks with your friends...and not if the flower guy bailed on you or if tablecloth was red or blue!
